| I had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was wonderful, pleasant, informative.
The locations chosen were nice, and walking through the neighborhoods with commentary about history and architecture added a lot. I went back to 3 of the stores after the tour to make purchases.
The only negative was the Ashkenaz deli. The latkas were awful. They were very greasy, not crispy. Not like a good latke should be. For people on the tour who have never eaten one, this was a poor example of a latke.
Thanks. |

| This is the second food walking tour I've taken. It's a great way to learn about neighborhoods in depth, really see them up close. By the end of the tour you're saturated with information about what's going on in the city -- with regard to food and other things. I really like and appreciate that the tastings are generous; they're not just leftovers or crumbs. We went back and made purchases at several of the stores using our coupons. Thanks for helping us discover the foodie side of Chicago! |

| Great way to get an overview of Chicago neighborhoods, while getting to try good and interesting food as well. You get to see and try food and places you wouldn't stumble across. Heed their advice on comfortable shoes/clothes: we went a long way. |

| Everyone who is physically able to take the walking tour- should sign up.
It is interesting from so many standpoints- enjoying the landscape, seeing the neighborhoods, learning some history and trivia- not to mention the food tour!!!
Nicky- was well-versed in her knowledge of all the locations on the tour- but also in each area along the way- and even areas that weren't part of the tour. She was enthusiastic and helpful to each of us. Truly an enjoyable day and a very worthwhile tour- different than the typical tourist stuff. |

| Its always tough to find things to do when your family comes into town, but this tour was great! You saw a lot of neat neighborhoods and gave my family a better taste (punn intended) of what Chicago is really like. I highly recommend it! |

Group of Friends |
| My friend and I took this tour midday Sunday after having spent the weekend in downtown Chicago. While staying in the downtown area was convenient for all of the sightseeing we'd done, we both agreed that we wish we'd been on the tour sooner so that we would've known about all of the attractions in the near north neighborhoods. Every stop on the tour was informative (and delicious!) I'm studying food science at the Ohio State University and I still found myself learning new things everywhere we went. I believe some of that is a testament to Chicago Food Planet and the participating stores, but I credit our guide Jennifer with most of that. She worked tirelessly to engage everyone in our group, all the while sharing more bits of trivia about architecture, food, and the city than I ever would have expected. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone new to the city with a taste for good food. |

| This was a Mother Daughter weekend for us and we both throughly enjoyed the walk through the side streets and popping into the gems of the city that the locals frequent. Only wish we had taken this tour the 1st day so we could return to some of the places we walked past or that the guide talked about. Our guide was a local with good knowledge of the architecture, history, and little known facts. Food tasting were good and varried. If you don't mind walking quite a bit you'll love this tour. |
