Kent was an awesome tour guide!!!!!!!!! I have been on both tours (near north) & (bucktown)! I loved them both but the bucktown/wicker park tour was much more food which I LOVED! I also loved the cultural and real estate aspects! I would recommend this tour to anyone! Me and my mom wish there were more tours to go on since we have done both of the tours already!!! Ioved the icream shop and the hot chocolate! This tour was amazing!!!!!!

We were worried that a food tour would leave us too full to eat for the rest of the day but eating lunch over a 3 our period was perfect. The food was outstanding. The company was fun. The tour guide, Colleen, was energetic, friendly and knowledgeable. The neighborhood tour was interesting and it was nice to be in an area that was not on the list of "Places to see in Chicago." We would highly recommend a food tour. It is a great way to get to a lot of local restaurants and get out of the city a little.

Our guide (1:00pm Saturday, August 14th) was absolutely great. It was a real plus that she had lived in both Bucktown and Wicker Park because her personal experiences enhanced the tour greatly. She was enjoyable but yet able to keep us focused and moving on the tour!

Our Bucktown/Wicker Park food tour was terrific. We got a lot of history of the area while enjoying interesting food at local places. Our tour guide, Kerry (sp?) was especially outstanding. She had an enormous amount of knowledge of the area, including personal interest stories. She really made the tour come to life. This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable 3 hours we have spent in our travels. We will look for tours like this again. .

My daughter and son-in-law were visiting from out of state and in celebration of his birthday I signed us up for the tour. What a great time we had! Our tour guide, Keri (? sp.) was the best guide I have ever had on a tour. You could tell she loved her job and loved the area. She almost made one want to move there. We enjoyed all the different tastes we had and went back to one of them to make a purchase. A real, unexpected highlight of the tour was the history and architecture of the area. I will definitely take the same tour again with different people and highly recommend it to everyone.

Being that Chicago is "flat," this was a very easy walking tour even though it took about 3 hours. It was paced perfectly between getting our food samples and walking through the the neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Bucktown. Carrie, our guide, was very knowledgable about the architecture and development of the area and the food and places were we ate. My adult daughter and I really enjoyed the selection of food that was presented in our particular tour and would have gone on one of their additional tours if time had permitted. We so liked one of the restaurants on the tour that we went back to one of them for dinner that night and were not disappointed, the food was delicious. This was one of the better food tours that I have been on in cities that I have visited as it mixed local food and neighboorhood information and Carrie was very professional and delightful as a guide.

My wife and myself took the BUCKTOWN/Wicker Park food toor by Chicago Food Planet. It was great. The leader (her name was JESS) she was very knowledgeable and keep everything very entertaining. The food on the tour was delicious and it gave us a nice taste of things in the neighbourhood. I would definately recommend this tour to anyone. Dont forget your walking shoes.
