My wife and I attended the Bucktown/ wicker park food tour. While we have visited chicago many times this tour gave us the oportunity to explore a little further outside of the main downdown area and into the neighborhood. The food was great and I appreciated visiting the "mom and pop" establishments to get a feel for the soul of the area. I wish it wasn't raining for our tour, but our guide still kept us ammused and one can hardly blame the weather on them.

I am a Chicago Native, however, I had only been to one of the restaurants featured on the tour. I really enjoyed the food and learning about the history of the neighborhood. This was a great way to spend the afternoon!

The Food Tasting Selections were outstanding. I was totally amazed at the portions we received. The restaurant selections were fabulous. So was walking the neighborhood of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Learned so much about the history of the area. Our guide was fabulous and knew a lot. Totally enjoyable. Have already recommended the tour to my Chicago family.

This was a great tour. The falaful was not liked by any one in our group of four and I saw alot of people throwing them away. Maybe a different type would be more acceptable. Overall A+ Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Everytime we visit a larger city we look for a food tour. We think they are the greatest.

This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. My wife and I are so happy to have booked this tour. Not only was the food great, Kent our guide was super and very engaging. The best part was getting outside of the Loop and being introduced to a cool neighborhood that we might not otherwise have explored. Highlights on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour was Hot Chocolate (the restaurant) and iCream. We had such a good time on the tour that we went back to the neighborhood and ate at Feast (owned by the same woman who owns the Goddess and Grocer) on our last night. My wife and I ageed that the tour was one of the best parts of our trip

Can't top the original tour, but very good!

My husband I did the original tour last year and loved it. We decided to try the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour this year. Our tour guide, Kent, was great. The iced chocolate drink from Hot Chocolate was amazing, and the Icream was very good. We liked our stop at Sultan's so much we ate there twice more! We enjoyed seeing some of the great architecture, too. And yet, what we enjoyed the most was visiting a few of the places we went on last year's tour.

Overall, it was a great afternoon. The weather was perfect and our guide Kent was great. We learned so much about the area and all the food places we stopped at were a treat. The only suggestion I would have to enhance the experience (and I realize it would add about a half hour to the tour) would be to spend 5 to 10 additional minutes at the stops where we had a chance to sit. I realize the tour is billed as food on the move, but I think the extra time would give a little more time to enjoy the food stop and converse with some of the others on the tour. Other than that, keep up the good work! And I have definitely been spreading favorable word of mouth reviews to my family and friends.

Very worthwhile activity. I was not familiar with the Bucktown-Wicker Park area prior to this tour. First impression of the commercial streets was one of an area that had seen better days. After the tour my impression was of an area that was filled with charming shops and restaurants founded by creative entrepreneurs. We had six food stops and all were delicious and housed in unique buildings. We had so much food that we could not finish the final selection so the owner of the restaurant was gracious enough to furnish a "doggie bag". The residential streets were just as charming. So glad to see that these Chicago neighborhoods are alive with beautifully restored and original Victorian homes. I never would have discovered them on my own. Kudos to our guide, Kent. He was very knowledgeable about the area.
