| This was a great tour. The falaful was not liked by any one in our group of four and I saw alot of people throwing them away. Maybe a different type would be more acceptable. Overall A+ Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Everytime we visit a larger city we look for a food tour. We think they are the greatest. |

| This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. My wife and I are so happy to have booked this tour. Not only was the food great, Kent our guide was super and very engaging. The best part was getting outside of the Loop and being introduced to a cool neighborhood that we might not otherwise have explored.
Highlights on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour was Hot Chocolate (the restaurant) and iCream. We had such a good time on the tour that we went back to the neighborhood and ate at Feast (owned by the same woman who owns the Goddess and Grocer) on our last night. My wife and I ageed that the tour was one of the best parts of our trip |

| My husband I did the original tour last year and loved it. We decided to try the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour this year. Our tour guide, Kent, was great. The iced chocolate drink from Hot Chocolate was amazing, and the Icream was very good. We liked our stop at Sultan's so much we ate there twice more! We enjoyed seeing some of the great architecture, too. And yet, what we enjoyed the most was visiting a few of the places we went on last year's tour. |

| Overall, it was a great afternoon. The weather was perfect and our guide Kent was great. We learned so much about the area and all the food places we stopped at were a treat. The only suggestion I would have to enhance the experience (and I realize it would add about a half hour to the tour) would be to spend 5 to 10 additional minutes at the stops where we had a chance to sit. I realize the tour is billed as food on the move, but I think the extra time would give a little more time to enjoy the food stop and converse with some of the others on the tour.
Other than that, keep up the good work! And I have definitely been spreading favorable word of mouth reviews to my family and friends. |

| Very worthwhile activity. I was not familiar with the Bucktown-Wicker Park area prior to this tour. First impression of the commercial streets was one of an area that had seen better days. After the tour my impression was of an area that was filled with charming shops and restaurants founded by creative entrepreneurs. We had six food stops and all were delicious and housed in unique buildings. We had so much food that we could not finish the final selection so the owner of the restaurant was gracious enough to furnish a "doggie bag". The residential streets were just as charming. So glad to see that these Chicago neighborhoods are alive with beautifully restored and original Victorian homes. I never would have discovered them on my own. Kudos to our guide, Kent. He was very knowledgeable about the area. |

| We joined the tour at George's Hot Dog (not sure if I have the name right) and spent a great 3 hours with our group and our tour guide Ben.
At first the price seemed a little high but this is more than a walking tour. We had a nice array of tasty treats, a tour of the neighbourhood including commercial and residential areas, a sampling of typical Chicago architecture (small/local scale as opposed to the grandeur of downtown) and small doses of history mixed into our walk. In the end we felt it was very worthwhile and a good value.
The Chicago hot dog, the chocolate drink with marshmallow (rated no 1 by our group) the antipasto treat, the falafel, the pizza and the ice cream were all great stops along the way and gave us a "taste of Chicago" and the neighbourhood. The pace was great, our tour guide friendly and informative (and a cool dude at that) and the time flew by as we toured the area, taking in shops, restaurants, homes, parks etc.
The only thing to be concerned about is making sure you know where you are going when you head out to meet the group. We came from downtown and while we had no problem, it took some planning on our part and we left a little extra time which turned out to be needed.
If you are looking for something different, a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and want to learn more about Chicago, take this tour. We highly recommend this leisurely walk and if we get back to Chicago, we would take another Chicago Foods tour without hesitation. Thanks Ben! |

| It was an excellent way to learn about establishments, local favorites, and amazing architecture. My friends and I were stuck in a traffic mess running a few minutes behind....and we received a phone call, letting us know our group was waiting for us. That was a big "above and beyond" experience. I was impressed. There were four of us that came together with a wonderful group of people and excellent guide. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Tried a variety of new foods........had a very informative walk. Learned and ate quite a bit. I recommend it to locals as well as visitors. Within our group there were quite a few people visiting from different areas, and they had a lot of questions on where to go.....restaurants and otherwise. By the time the tour was over all their questions were answered and the had an itinerary:) Highly Recommended.!!!!! |
