| My friends and I all loved learning about the two neighborhoods Wicker Park and Bucktown. None of us knew anything about either one. Our guide Kyle was very informative and kept us entertained the entire 3 hours. And the food...WOW...come hungry. Everything was delicious. |

| A group of us took the Chicago Food Planet Tour of Old Town last year and were eagerly looking forward to the Bucktown/Wicker Park Tour. This tour did not disappoint. The choice of establishments for the tour was diverse and of excellent quality and our guide was knowledgeable but most important, personable. Highly recommend this tour! |

| We found that our tour guide was quite knowledgeable about the area and vendors, very energetic, informative and just delightful to spend the afternoon with. The choices of restaurants was wonderful as all of the tastings were delicious. I believe I speak for everyone in our group when I say we would highly recommend other friends take this tour. |

| I'm a Youth Minister from Georgia and we had a team of 8 youth (15 and 16 year olds) and 4 adults in Chicago doing some inner-city missions and we had a free day before our flight back to Saturday. I was looking for something that would be appealing and different for our group to do and I came across this website for the Bucktown/Wicker Food tasting tour and signed our group up. I told the kids and adults and they were SO excited!!! When we got there our tour guide Ben was awesome and the stops along the way were incredible. He did a great job talking about all the architecture and the history of the Bucktown/Wicker area. We stopped at 6 places and everyone had something that they liked! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with teenagers or just as a couple or individual. It was a lot of fun and a great experience! |

| I enjoyed this tour as much as my friend visiting. Our guide was knowledgeable about the food establishments and the history of bucktown and wicker park. I enjoyed the architecture lesson as well. I've lived here for 20 years and have never heard of this tour. Ill definitley add this to my list of activities for future guests. I enjoyed the food establishments, but would love to see other options as there are so many great places for foodies in the area. |

| I wanted to explore the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhoods and this was a fun way to do it. The stops on the tasting tour were varied and yummy. I was suprised that so much food was provided- a whole hot dog, half a sandwich, slice of pizza. I was expecting "bites" not a meal at each stop! Part of the tour is devoted to examining the architecture and history of the Wicker Park neighborhood and I definitely enjoyed seeing that. There are some beautiful homes in this neighborhood. Our tour guide Carrie was enthusiastic and fun. She made everyone feel welcome and seemed excited about her job.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who has not been to these neighborhoods before. You will want revisit some of the places you eat and double back to places you see along the way. |

| My teenage daughter and I truly enjoyed the whole experience. From the extensive history of Chicago to the varied tastes we encountered, it was a great investment of our short time in the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, sharing her love for the area. We actually returned to the same area the next day to enjoy four of the tour stops in more detail. We will definitely recommend the tour to all we encounter! Thanks! Jeanette Hornung, Kansas |

| I did the tour w/ my 18 yr old son & 20 yr. old. daughter. We LOVED this tour. Starting with the ever famous 7 ingredient Chicago hot dog to the inventive hi-tech ice cream, nothing we had was just a sampler. We had a whole Chicago dog at George's, a full cup of cold chocolate drink, 1/2 a pita sandwich, a whole slice of pizza, etc. The architectural walk placed in the middle was a good break from eating and gave us time to digest our food.
Our tour guide, Ben, was fun & interesting. Having been a former resident of the area he gave us lots of personal insights of the area.
By the end of the tour we were ready for a food coma nap from all the GREAT food & drinks. If we had more time, we would've stayed in the area to discover all the shops and eventually have dinner there. Only problem would've been to select where we wanted to eat between where we've been and all the recommendations Ben had given us. If had another day, we would've done the North Food Tour.
My only suggestion to improve the tour would be to offer water with the food. Bring a bottle of water with you for something to drink . |
