The mix of venues was great from the traditional Chicago hot dog to the innovative ice cream producer.
The historical changes to Bucktown and Wicker Park were interestingly observed and explained.
Highly recommended |

My wife and I agree that this tour was the highlight of our trip to Chicago. Our tour guide, Kent, never stopped talking. He shared his architectural knowledge, restaurant reviews, history of the neighborhoods and personal experiences with great ease. All of the food we had from the Chicago dogs, iced chocolate drink, pasta salad, pizza and beer, falafel, and ice cream was excellent and enough for lunch and dinner. You can expect that we will pass our praises onto everyone we know that plan to visit Chicago. Thanks and we will see you again.
As an afterthought, when the weather is hot, you might want to suggest that people bring bottled water. We did, but others did not. |

I'm always looking for something fun to do that's off the beaten track, and this tour was perfect. Even though I live in Chicagoland, I have not been to Bucktown or Wicker Park much. I was surprised at all the neat little restaurants and the variety of food that was offered on this tour. I actually had to "take-away" the falafel - I just couldn't eat anymore! I also love architecture, and really enjoyed having the details of some special homes pointed out during our walk around Wicker Park. The history about the area was also very interesting. Kent was our tour guide - I thought he was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour. I have also been on the Near North Food Tour. I enjoyed that one as well - it is completely different and goes through more neighborhoods (but is a longer walk). |

We enjoyed all the stops, the Wicker Park and Bucktown area, good walking speed. Would like to see smaller portions, more tastes from the locations. Other than that it was great. |

There was a nice variety and quality of food on the tour. Our guide, Kent, was well informed and entertaining. We felt the tour was well the worth the money, and a wonderful way to learn a little bit about the Chicago area. |

My wife and I enjoyed the tour. The food sampling was very good but the stop at the market with a sample of pasta salad was the low light. The pasta salad was no better than Safeway, the space was cramped and I didnt see anything unique about the store. The walking tour with the homes was very interesting and would be greatly improved if you could somehow negotiate limited access to one of the homes. The tour leader Kent was entertaining and did a good job. |

We live in the northern suburbs and this tour is a great alternative to a downtown trip. The tour highlights not only the cultural diversity of Chicago but also the delectable cuisine that makes Chicago a truly spectacular place! |

My 15 year old daughter picked this tour and she did a great job! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and really helped make us feel part of the tour. The food overall was a real treat and we loved hearing about the history behind each restaurant. Our only drawback was that we weren't able to go back to some of the restaurants we sampled, as we were leaving the next day or we definitely would have went back to a few. |
