Let by guide Kent, the tour in Bucktown/Wicker Park was excellent. Good pace, plenty of food from the neighborhoods and learning the history of each neighborhoods made for a great tour. I would recommend if your are interested in different kinds of food and and interest cultural history of Chicago.

We walked the 3.7 mile trek up from the loop and made it in about 80 minutes. We arrived at the meeting spot outside Georges Hotdogs at exactly 11:30 and found about a dozen other food hounds ready to go. Our guide, Ken was fun, funny, enthusiastic and knowledgable. He made the adventure very easy, guiding us from one spot to another with aplomb and giving us a really great sense of the neighborhood, it's history, architecture and the diversity of food available in this area of Chicago. Really well done! Make sure to come on an empty stomach because you'll finish the trip stuffed to the gills if you eat everything you're given at every stop! If you can, save a spec of room for a little ice cream at the end. It was an excellent experience and one we'll be repeating with the other taste tours they offer both in Chicago and in other cities. What a great way to experience a neighborhood, eat a wide variety of excellent food and get to know other folks. Very highly recommended!

I recently went on my second Food Tasting and Cultural Tour in Chicago! It was a cold and windy day- and it was still fun!! Our guide was terrific- providing us with lots of good food and historical information about Bucktown and Wicker Park- all the while keeping in mind that some of us were not dressed for the weather! It seemed as if there was less walking than in the Near North tour that I did last summer. There was a variety of food to try - and definitely enough!! It is a good idea to bring along a water bottle regardless of the weather. As the neighborhood continues to grow, maybe there will be more foodie specialty stores to add to the mix! These are such fun that I'd like to start a tour in my city!

A combination of food, architecture, history and fun. We have taken the Bucktown/Wicker Park and the Near Nortthside tour. Each time has been great. Highlight on this tour, Mideastern Restaurant. Our group had locals, tourists from the states and international travelers. A great way to spend several hours in Chicago.

I live in the chicagoland area and still learned so much about the Bucktown/Wicker Park Area. It was an awesome tour and the tour guide and the other people on the tour were super friendly so it made for a great date with my husband! The local eateries are definitely on my list to go back to!

I would recommend the Wicker Park food tasting tour to anyone. It was great fun and educational. I have traveled to Chicago a number of times and still found the information very interesting. For someone that has never been to the city, this tour would give them a week of experience in a few hours.

I HIGHLY recommend this food tour. We originally wanted to go on the Near North tour but it was sold out, so we opted for the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour and I'm so glad we did. It's such a neat part of Chicago intertwined with history, architecture, and great local spots. Our tour guide, Colleen, was phenomenal. She was SO knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We tried amazing food, saw places where movies had been filmed, learned about the area, and afterwards even went back to one of the places we'd visited. The $45 per person we spent was money well spent--and if we ever find ourselves in Chicago again we'd definitely go on another tour. It's such a great way to see AND taste the city. Sign up for a food tour right now!

The only thing I would like to see changed would have been the dessert at the second stop. A bit too much that close to the beginning, possibly have it as the last stop??

Tour guide did a nice job. There was too much concentration on promoting the restaurants and would have liked more history. Felt rushed to eat our food so there should have been a bit more time for that. Also, being offered a water at some of the stops would have been a plus. The hot chocolate at Hot Chocolate was "out of this world" as was the Falafel at Sultan's.
