The tour was great, the guide was great and very knowledgeable-even remembered all our names! There was too much food,by the time we got to the MiddleEastern store we were stuffed! Smaller portions would be good! |

The only thing I could suggest to make this tour better would be to put the hot chocolate towards the end of the tour.....not easy with the location. I loved all the food but would have preferred both sweets at the end. |

We had fun on our tour of Bucktown and Wicker Park. We ate a real Chicago hot dog, delicious hot chocolate with a real marshmellow, tasted "salad" at a deli, had a skinny pizza and beer, a half of a falafel sandwich and i cream! One change I would make: I would have preferred to have the Middle eastern food earlier in the tour. We walked around some pleasant neighboorhoods and enjoyed the parks and good weather. Our guide was welcoming and very knowledgable. I would recommend this tour to others, especially young people in their 20s and 30s. We were a group of two parents and 3 adult children. |

My wife and I live in the Chicago suburbs and decided to take Good Friday (company holiday) to be tourists in our own city. The Bucktown/Wicker Park Food Tour seemed like a good venue to explore...It met our expectations. I also wrote a critique and uploaded some photos to tripadvisor.com. Overall, our afternoon was great and our guide, Gina, was full of fun factoids about the area. The only thing we would critique is that the sequence of the food (hot chocolate after a Portillo's style hotdog?) and the pace (wolfed-down a falafal pita pocket) was a bit weird, and might be better ended over pizza and beer for camaraderie....but the nitrogen-infused ice cream store was also cool. |

We had a fantastic time on our tour! The food was incredible!!!! At each stop we were given a generous helping of food, and were definitely full by the end of the tour. Each stop was very unique. Our tour guide was phenomenal, and we were pleasantly surprised at how knowledgable she was of the area. As we walked from location to location we were given the history of the neighborhoods, homes, parks and businesses. We had a wonderful experience, and we have already been recommending this tour to our friends! We will definitely do another Planet Food Tour next time we are in Chicago! |

Our guide was really entertaininge. One recommendation is to provide a radio receiver and ear buds and have the guide speak into a microphone. There was alot of questions posed by the attendees and if you wern't next to the guide you didn't hear her response. |

I took the Wicker Park/Bucktown food tour, and it was a side of Chicago I never saw before (I travel to chicago almost every other year). The food was incredible, not a poor choice of mixed variety (you got different elements but it all blended amazingly), the walking was beautiful, our guide (I forgot her name) was exceptionally nice and upbeat and had a lot of cool facts to give us the real feel of that area. We got to see some beautiful homes and learn about the history of that area as well. I had plans to leave this area immediately after my tour, but decided that I needed to see more of it and stayed the entire day. I enjoyed this tour and the area so much I am actually investigating moving myself into wicker park. I have not done any of the other tours, I assume the food is probably just as amazing, because the restaurants are chosen in a classy, well rated, award winning style, that you should maybe judge by the place as well |
