| We love the food tasting tours. We did the Near North Tour last fall and it was excellent! Which is why we came back. This tour provided a generous amount of fabulous tastings. Favorite is HOT CHOCOLATE! Wow, how do they do that? The ice cream stop is an awesome concept yet the flavor we received did not complement any of the tastings or make me want to go back. We were told about an awesome flavor from "that Florida Guy" but having not tasted it, I would not go out of my way to stop again. Over all great fun! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. With our informative guides (Ben & Kent), we were able to explore a part of Chicago that we may not go to on our own and got to taste great food from local businesses. We liked all the different tasting but really, really like the beer at Piece and found iCream especially memorable. The owner of iCream happened to be there and she gave us a more indepth and personal introduction to her store and made us an additional batch of fresh ice cream to taste. Should we visit Chicago again, we'd probably considering staying in or near the Bucktown / Wicker Park area. It's such a cute neighborhood with great restaurants and boutique stores.
We wished we had time to do the Near North tour as well. |

| This was such a great tour. I can't rave enough about it. The food was all delicious (plenty of food, at least for a female). Learned a lot about this beautiful little area of Chicago. I went primarily because my grad school daughter is planning to move to Wicker Park. However, I recommend this to anyone as a great activity to really learn about Chicago and taste some GREAT food. |

| The tour gives you a good feel for Bucktown/Wicker Park from its history to all the yummy eats. It was a really great way to spend the afternoon. And, they didn't skimp on the food portions!
Complaint: When I asked the tour guides where was a good place to eat for Cinqo de Mayo they couldn't even recommend a restaurant, not even the Mexican restaurant on the tour. That just left a bad impression. |

| We enjoyed the Bucktown/Wicker park tour. We had also taken the Near North tour so we had high expectations since we enjoyed the other tour so much. We enjoyed all of the places we visited. It was my first Chicago style hot dog so that was a treat. The hot chocolate was unbelievable and the Icream was very interesting. I missed visiting the shops like you do on the other tour and I felt like you got more info on the other tour. I think the tour would be better if they replaced a couple of stops. I didn't like the one with the beet salad and the granola was fine but it is no fun when you can't even go in. |

| I was in town for a girls' weekend--the Wicker Park tour was a highlight of the weekend! Kent did an awesome job keeping us informed and entertained, and the amount of food was just right! As out-of-towners, we never would have found the Wicker Park/Bucktown area on our own; after experiencing the neighborhood during the tour, we returned with the rest of our group for brunch at Feast and shopping. Delightful!!
Only drawback--the granola sample from Milk and Honey seemed pretty chintzy--maybe make a different eatery one of the tastes? It doesn't seem quite right that they get the same coverage as say, George's who welcomed our big group inside. |

| Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we had a delightful time on our tour. Kent was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We definitely would not have visited the Bucktown/Wicker Park area without having scheduled this tour. A trainee, Ben, was extremely friendly (He just needs a bit more practice on his delivery so it sounds more natural.). My only recommendation is to make the tour a little shorter, maybe 2-2 1/2 hrs. |

| We selected this tour for the tasting experiences and we were delighted.
We started out with an opportunity to try out the real Chicago Hot Dog (which was very good indeed).
Then, we were flabbergasted with the BEST Hot Chocolate we ever tasted in our whole life.
We also had the chance to taste local beer along with a New Haven thin pizza and both were delicious.
BUT the best feature in this tour was our visit to iCream cafe. This was a UNIQUE yet ASTONISHING experience. I never imagined tasting such a fresh and unusually flavoured ice cream. If I was living in Chicago, I would be addicted to this place.
The only downside to this tour was the Granola cup that was given to us at the beginning of the tour. We did not visit this restaurant (just passed by) so we were disappointed. I would recommend they change this spot for another one if they can't accomodate the visitors inside their business in the middle of the afternoon.
The cultural tour was also interesting and our guide (Kent) explained us many things about the Wicker Park and Bucktown areas.
Great tour, great selection of restaurants and solid knowledge of the Bucktown / Wicker Park areas' history by the tour guide. |

| A good way to learn about out of the way Chicago dining and drinking establishments. Sample and learn about good food and interesting dining establishments. Learn about the neighborhood and its history. A good time at a casual pace. |

| I really enjoyed this tour. I would definitely return and bring other out-of-town guests. I live in Chicago, but don't spend much time in Wicker Park, so almost all of the restaurants were new to me.
Our guide, Kent, was informative and entertaining.
I enjoyed all of the tastings, although by the end, I was stuffed! I think the cocoa filled me up quite a bit because it was rich and the serving was fairly large.
Here are the tastings in my order of preference:
Piece
Hot Chocolate
Coco Rouge
George's Hot Dogs
iCream
Goddess & Grocer
Milk & Honey |
