| Tour was great. We had fantastic weather, so that added to the experience. Food was good and we went back to several spots for further tastings. More time talking to the owners would be a plus, but as this tour is during peak hours it's understandable. |

| This was our 2nd food tour in Chicago and it was a quality experience. Our tour guide was very articulate and had a detailed understanding of the Wicker Park area. Our son is going to school in Chicago and hangs out in Wicker Park --even he learned things he never knew.
We always enjoy the history and cultural infomation from the tours and the food is just an added benefit.
We keep the tour info so we can use next time we are in Chicago.
Strongly recommend |

| From the initial greeting to the final departing this tour was top notch. The food tastings were from an outstanding selection of tier one mom and pop shops. The guide enlightened us on many aspects of the local community, including the architecture, the history (from 1800's to recent), and other tid-bits of interesting information. This tour is a MUST if you are a chocolate lover as two of the tasting are from unbelievable chocolatiers. |

| I visit my Chicago family every Thanksgiving with my grown children, and we try to find something fun to do every year. We hit the jackpot with this food tour.
It was not only a food tour, but an architectural and historic tour of Bucktown and Wicker Park. The food was sensational, the tour was interesting and informative, and the guide was so warm and personable that we felt she was not just a tour guide, but, for three hours, also our friend.
Twenty thumbs way, way up! |

| It was fun to learn about these two neighborhoods and the history on how they evolved. The tour introduced us to a whole new area of restaurants. When we visit the city, we usually stay in the downtown area, but now have another avenue to explore. We had a lot of fun! |

| I went to Chicago with my girlfriend and another couple (both being friends from work). We spent the entire 5 days sight seeing all over Chicago ie planetarium, aquarium, museums etc, but the best day we had was spent in Bucktown/Wicker Park. We met at Georges Hot dog stand where we had the best tasting hotdogs I've had in my life. We continued through the streets of Bucktown and then on to Wicker Park. As we walked through the neighborhood we were taught about the rich culture and archetecture that was established throughout history. Our Guide Kent was fantastic. He was able to answer most if not all, the questions that was asked and was able to talk about his neighborhood with excitement. He provided a rich history and outlined some of the best hotspots to dine at. I can say I truely enjoyed all the food I given to try ie Hotdogs to thin crust pizza to homemade marshmellows and hot chocolate. Finally ending at a little chocolate store for yes chocolate tasting...mmmmm. To go along with that thin crust pizza previously mentioned was also a beer sampling at a little microbrewery. I just wish I could have had more.
My only complaint for that day has absolutely nothing to do with the tour itself, but with the weather. It was quite cold for the day, and a bit snowy which made standing out on the street a little hard. But the warm food and drinks completely made up for the cold weather.
In conclusion I would have to highly recommend this tour. The tour guide was great, the food was awesome, and the history within the area was indeed very fascinating. Just hope you pick a date that the weather is good. I would go back for a second tour.
Good food, good friends, good times
Thanks again |

| Kent was a great tour guide. In 3 hours, I got to taste a Chicago hotdog (and learn what makes it a Chicago hotdog), thin crust pizza, delicious and smooth hot chocolate with a homemade marshmallow, super granola and 2 wonderful pieces of chocolate truffle. mmmmgood. Oh, yes, I did enjoy the history of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Definitely recommend this tour. |

| The tour is such fun and very entertaining as well as informative. Kent, the tour guide had me wishing I was a Chicago native so I could return to these great restaurants where we had been, and also to the extra places that were pointed out along the way. I've got great suggestions for all my friends traveling there as well as my daughter and all of her buds from Northwestern.
I had taken the original Chicago food tour in May and was thrilled with it, so much that I was going to do it again and take my husband so he could experience it. The Wicker Park tour is fairly new but definitely highlights the best of what the neighborhood is all about. I'd highly recommend it.
It poured rain for over half of our tour and we still had a blast!! |
