I highly recommend this tour! It was fun, tasty, interesting & informative. Our tour guide Carrie was an endless source of knowledge about everything from the restaurants, to the neighborhoods and the beautiful old houses that grace the Chicago neighborhoods. The food was a fantastic mix of tastes and we really enjoyed the variety of foods offered. A must on your next trip to Chicago, you won't be disappointed!

Our tour guide Kent was phenomenal. The cultural aspects were great. I learned new things even as a local. The food was amazing! You will definitely have some of the best around! I would gladly take family, friends, and out of town guests on this tour. We hung out in the are through dinner. Great value for the money!

Being that Chicago is "flat," this was a very easy walking tour even though it took about 3 hours. It was paced perfectly between getting our food samples and walking through the the neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Bucktown. Carrie, our guide, was very knowledgable about the architecture and development of the area and the food and places were we ate. My adult daughter and I really enjoyed the selection of food that was presented in our particular tour and would have gone on one of their additional tours if time had permitted. We so liked one of the restaurants on the tour that we went back to one of them for dinner that night and were not disappointed, the food was delicious. This was one of the better food tours that I have been on in cities that I have visited as it mixed local food and neighboorhood information and Carrie was very professional and delightful as a guide.

There was plenty of delicious food even for someone with a hearty appetite. The guide was very knowledgeable about the food and the area. He was so enthusiastic about the area that we were all ready to move there.

Loved our guide, Kent. He was knowledgeable and very personable. We were a family of 3 with a guest (parents and 18 and 19 year olds). Enjoyed the restaurants he chose for our tastings and loved the history about the architecture and neighborhoods of Bucktown and Wicker Park. There wasn't a food we didn't like and even tried falafel (sp?) for the first time. Our overall family favorite was iCream and the flavor chosen was called "that guy from Florida" (I believe). A combination of white chocolate, cream soda and nutella. Awesome taste! Our son who hopes to be a chef someday enjoyed chatting with Kent and was the primary reason we chose a "food tour". However, you don't have to want to be a chef to enjoy this tour - just love food and walking!

Was surprised at the size of the "sample" food The samples were a serving, ie. An entire hot dog sandwich, a slice of pizza, etc. Impressed that the stores visited were places that have received high honors/awards. Will take another tour on our next visit to Chicago.

I was surprised at the large amount of food that was offered! I totally enjoyed that and the tour of the neighborhood. The tour guide, Gina, gave more information than the typical "just history" aspect. This was a wonderful tour, and I would highly recommend it for out-of-towners AND locals!
