Our guide was excellent. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The businesses visited were informative and interesting. We will be visiting them again. We enjoyed seeing the different architecture and having explanations of some of the history. We will be trying some of the other tours too. Thanks.

This was my 2nd time taking this tour. It is truely awesome and worth every penny. Every time I have family from out of town come to visit this is the first thing I think of to do with them. Everyone loves it when they take it.

We are not usually ones to sign up for a tour, I am so glad we did this one. Our guide, Gina, was fabulous for our Bucktown/Wicker Park tour. Funny, interesting and professional. The food variety was great and we never would have tried all the different restaurants if we ventured to the neighborhood on our own. The tour was well worth the money and time!

I went on this tour with my daughter, age 18, and we both loved it! It was a fantastic way to see one of the more interesting suburbs of Chicago, get outside of the city, outside the box, and see some of the local culture. The tour consists of 6 food tastings, and a lovely stroll through the Bucktown & Wicker Park neighborhoods. It's an easy walk at a leisurely pace, and the food selections are really really good, and some very unique. You get so much in one afternoon -- so many tastings of different must-haves in Chicago, you get to see some really interesting shops run by locals, and you take in a lot of beautiful architecture -- all so interesting. It really is a great neighborhood to check out, and we even went back the next day to pick up a few things before heading out of town. It was one of the highlights of our quick trip to Chicago, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Chicago, but outside of the downtown setting. It is a bargain and a half: the food was far more than adequate to be considered a "lunch" but spread out enough so that you are not too stuffed to enjoy each tasting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, really seemed to love giving the tours, which makes it all so much more enjoyable. The group of 16 was not too large, although slightly smaller might have been a tad better. But again, don't miss out on this one! You will enjoy it and feel like you really got a good bang for your buck.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I've always been a picky guy when it comes to hot dogs. Now having tried an authentic Chicago-style hot dog, I'm more open to new possibilities. As a matter of fact, that could be said of nearly all the foods we enjoyed on this tour: I'm now open to trying all sorts of new foods. One aspect of the tour that cannot be ignored is our charismatic and very enthusiastic tour guide, Kent. He loves his city, and it shows in his presentation method. As my wife put it, "He loves his city, and he wants us to love it too." An important (and often overlooked) part of the way in which the food tour is conducted is that there is a bit of walking and learning between each food tasting, which helps aid digestion and keeps you from getting too full. After all, you will be trying foods from 6 different places. All things considered, if you're interested in taking a food tour, I would encourage you to do so. The food is good, you meet new people, and the tour is interesting and informative.

My husband and I are big food lovers and we have been to Chicago many times. We loved the chance to visit a new, and very eclectic, neighborhood and sample some of the best food that the locals enjoy. Nothing fancy, but the portions were generous and everything was delicious. A true representation of classic Chicago neighborhood finds. We also enjoyed the sight-seeing portion of the tour. This was an unexpected surprise. It was interesting to see historical homes and nice to have a break from eating so we could make room for more! We would highly recommend this tour for adults and children alike!

We really enjoyed the variety of foods tasted and it was great to tour another section of the city. Our tour guide (Carrie-not sure of spelling) was very knowledgeable. A most enjoyable time.

We really enjoyed the tour of the neighborhood and learning about it's rich history. Great tour guide. If I was able to, I would give it a 4 1/2 rather than a 4.
