We loved this tour. We were in Chicago for the 4th of July and the Taste of Chicago was happening downtown. This was by far more fun and filling.

This was a great tour! I've done food tours in NYC and have only received very small portions at each stop. This tour gives you full portions. I started getting full by the end! Nicole did a great job of keeping us all interested in the history and homes along the way despite the heat. She was awesome! This was a great way to get to know a neighborhood that I had never explored before.

We live in the northern suburbs and this tour is a great alternative to a downtown trip. The tour highlights not only the cultural diversity of Chicago but also the delectable cuisine that makes Chicago a truly spectacular place!

My husband and I recently went on the Bucktown/Wickertown food tour on our first visit to Chicago. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! Plenty of food (more than I could actually eat, but my husband managed) and a great walk through the towns. Our guide, Lisa, was great - very interesting to listen to about the history of the area and the architectural styles of the homes. I would highly recommend this tour!

My mother and I went on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour and thought it was great! Our tour guide, Kent, was awesome! He knew so much about the neighborhoods and the food stops. He did a wonderful job as our guide! The food samples were all delicious. We thought all the stops on the tour provided good food. The food samples throughout the tour will definitely leave you full so be prepared to eat! I would highly recommend this tour to others!

Food, history, architecture, culture all in one

My partner and I are food fans who enjoyed a previous Zerve tour of New York's Chinatown. The Chicago food tour was a great way to explore a less-touristy neighborhood with a knowledgeable local guide. Kent's patter, although a wee bit rehearsed, was entertaining and informative. I loved getting to know the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhoods and history, and the food choices were stunning -- especially Piece, Hot Chocolate, and the Middle Eastern deli falafel. I was delighted as we were led past the fancy homes and the not-yet-fancy fixer-uppers and even gawked at the outside of a (closed till dark) speakeasy. Kent was a delightful guide and I would have loved to take another tour with him. We had a wonderful time and delicious food!
