We loved the tour!

The tour was even better than we expected! The food was great and gave us the chance to try many different restaurants we would not have visited otherwise. Our guide was fantastic! She was fun, interesting, and gave us tons of great info on the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhoods. It ended up being more of a architectural and historical tour than we anticipated, which we loved! Our whole family had a great time!

It was fun to learn more about an area in our own city and eat great food while doing so! We will definitely be going back to Bucktown/Wicker Park to continue exploring!

This tour takes visitors through one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Chicago and offers an opportunity to taste local specialties and to see and learn about residential architectural styles and their changes over the years. The trip was both educational and lots of fun, and I highly recommend it.

I thought the tour would have a bit more behid the sceenes into what makes the dish or resturaunt so popular. with this tour you could have given me an address and what dish to order and i could have gotten the food part of the tour. Eliminate the walking around wicker park and you could take an hour off of the tour. need beverages at least cup of water served with each tasting. not crazy about guide...

The Bucktown/Wicker Park tasting tour was fun, tasty & informative. The food was delicious and the samples were very generous. You really need to pace yourself! Carrie, our tour guide, was fun to be with and very knowledgeable. In addition to learning about the food we tasted, we learned about the history of Chicago in general and the neighborhoods in particular. We also learned a bit about architecture which was very interesting. A great way to see Chicago!

The Bucktown/Wicker Park food tasting tour was everything we thought it would be and more. Our guide, Kent, was enthusiastic and is defintely proud of his part of town. We enjoyed the little tid-bits he shared along the way. The food was great and we were stuffed by the time we reached our third stop. We were traveling with a 13 and 16 year old (who are usually pretty hard to please) and they absolutely loved everything about it, especially "Hot Chocolate" and their first homemade marshmallow. Thanks again for a great afternoon Kent! The Kleins, Palm Harbor, Florida

This is the 3rd tour I've taken with Chicago Food Planet but 1st time on the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour. A fabulous way to experience the real Chicago because food is such a huge part of who we are!
