Bucktown & Wicker Park Food Tour

We had a mix of all ages, a wonderful tour guide and I really enjoyed the places we toured. I will take the other 2 tours. Piece and Hot Chocolate were my favorites and have returned to both places since. I can't remember our guide, but she said we could call her Sheila if we didn't like her. All said and done my family and I had fun with her.

I am living in Chicago but most of my group did not live here and they loved it. The food was delicious and there were alot of cultural aspects I didnt know about even after living in Chicago for several years. The tour guide was knowlegeable and fun too.

I really enjoyed the walk through the neighborhood and park and discovering some places I didn't know about before. Hot Chocolate, Sultan's Market, and iCream will definitely be revisited :) Our guide was great - funny and knowledgeable. However, I would have liked to try something more exotic instead of the Chicago hot dog. Being a local and a foodie, that just wasn't special enough and didn't deliver enough bang for my buck.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and our tour guide, Kent, was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

This specific food tour allowed several of my friends to gather and walk, talk, learn about a local neighborhood and enjoy and sample the foods from various selected restaurants. Because the participants were from other Chicagoland neighborhoods, as well as, other cities across the US, the tour offered that enjoyable dimension. Our tour leader was friendly, outgoing and extremely knowledgeable about the area. This activity completely lived up to my expectations and I would seek out other tours from this company.

A group of girls and I went on this tour. Some of the girls were from out of town and some were from the Chicago area. We all had a fantastic time! The tour was informative not only about the food and restaurants but also about the Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhoods as well. The tour was organized well with enough walking time between tastings and appropriate sample sizes. I would recommend this tour for anyone!

Make sure you start this tour with an empty stomach! The food is great and the variety of locations we visited was good. The tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the tour area. AND she provided ponchos for the torrential downpour during the tour, which only made the tour more interesting! THANKS! Would definitely recommend this tour to others, whether locals or visitors.

Living in Chicago for only a year, I thought it'd be fun for my boyfriend and me to explore a different neighborhood via a food tour! Our guide, Sophie, was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgable and well-spoken; it was apparent she really loves what she does. Not only did we learn about some amazing local food and drink spots, we got some Chicago history and architectural info as well. The food was delicious and the perfect amount, I left pretty full but not uncomfortable. I will definitely be heading back to Wicker Park/Bucktown to the food places we visited and also to some of the other spots Sophie pointed out along the way. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun Chicago experience!

This tour was lots of fun and was more than just food. Our tour guide was energetic and very knowledgeable, and the food was great. Two thumbs up!
