Great tour guide, she was wonderful. New many facts and details about the city. The tour is called a tasting tour yet it wasnt that at all. We expected to taste a few things at the bakery, fudge shop, pizza place but instead were given one small piece of chocolate, cookie and slice of pizza. |

Rebecca was a wonderful tour guide. Extremely engaging in her knowledge of Chicago. We, as a group, learned alot from her and the neighbourhoods we walked. (We did the "Near North Tour"). The tasting choices were unique establishments I personally may never walk into on my own, yet, well worth going in to. This was definitely one of my favourite experiences of Chicago, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. In fact, it needs to catch on to other major cities, so that more people can have this unique, one of a kind experience! Way to go - you have me hooked! |

General Information: You're provided with a map and coupons for returning to the visited places on the tour. Our tour guide was energetic and knowledgeable about the city's history and places we visited. The directions provided for arriving and leaving the tour are perfect (we used the instructions from Michigan Avenue), as is all of the provided detailed information. This is a well-organized tour.
We enjoyed the tour, but would have liked more time at each stop. We felt rushed and would have preferred less talking and more tasting...or just more time at each stop to take in the atmosphere. The three hours went by so quickly. We also did not find the tour to be strenuous or the 1.5 miles of walking hard to handle. I thought the amount of food was sufficient for lunch; however, my fiancee would have liked greater quantities of food. We learned a lot and enjoyed the walk through Chicago.
Overall, we definitely are thinking about doing the other tour offered and revisiting some of the places we were taken during the tour. |

Highly recommended, but be prepared for a lot of walking. I think we walked off all the calories consumed. Please don't bring your kids... Ask for Hillary - she was awesome. |

This tour was a lot of fun. Our guide was funny and informative. It was great to see some of Chicago that I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise, while enjoying a little bit of food along the way. I was definitely glad I wore sneakers, though! |

The tour leader Chris was super knowledgeable and funny. He was good at keeping the tempo of the tour up and with dealing with more "out-going" personalities in the group. Even though I am a local, I learned a ton about the city I had never known and went to places I did not know exist, but now will definitely visit again. Chris made everyone feel welcome and excited to be there. Great tour! |

My son & I joined a small group where most of them were in their 20s and 30s. It was fun from the onset when our guide, Chris, got first name introductions and capitalized on the Michigan/Ohio rivalry. Our first stop, a Jewish deli, offered reuben sandwiches and info about pastrami vs. corned beef. Next, we went to a tea shop and received iced tea as well as knowledge about the different types of teas. Heading into Old Town was my favorite part: a spice shop and olive oil/balsamic vinegar shop that encouraged tasting. We then went to a bakery and a chocolate shop - yummy! Our last stop was a far walk for pizza.
My only complaint was that Chris did not linger long enough to say good-bye and collect the tip that I pocketed for him. |
