Great experience, both as a historical tour and as a food tour. All the stops were delightful and carefully selected by tour organizers. Great experience.

Based on a recommendation of a friend who took your tour earlier this summer, my husband & myself with another couple decided to try the Old Town & Gold Coast Walking tour. We were not disappointed! Kent, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the eateries and food as well as the history of the neighborhood. He kept our tour moving and told his stories with humor and good taste. When we gave him a tip, my husband said, "maybe he will be able to buy himself a pair of jeans that don't have holes in them!"

The tour was a wonderful addition to our trip. We would not have seen the areas or tasted the local dishes without the tour. Our guide was well versed in th stories and very kind. My suggestion would be to include more historical info about the culture and neighbourhoods. Thanks.

My husband and I really enjoyed walking around a different part of the city and trying off the beaten path food venues and shops. Kent was our guide and provided a lot of information about the history of the city and the places we stopped in to and kept us all on time. I think every tourist should try this tour.

A great food tour combined with Chicago history.

The group of 10 agreed that the way the food tour is set-up is perfect. We felt a little rushed when eating pizza, but understand it was a timing issue. The walking was great but some felt it was a lot of walking. The only negitive was not having time to purchase at each stop. The tour guide, Nicole, was wonderful. We would love to try the other food tours!

I am a chef and foodie, so I know a little bit about food and ingredients, but my wife and i still learned a lot. Coleen (our guide) was hilarious and super knowledgeable about food in Chicago and even gave us a tour of notable buildings in the area. Lots of fun, lots of food, cool exproration, would totally do it again! Thanks guys!

loved the blend of the typical (deep dish pizza) and the unusual (teagschwender!) - energetic guide, great new food information. I came back with increased food knowledge and some very special gourmet products. Thanks!

I booked this tour before our long-weekend getaway. Alia was our enthusiastic guide, and we loved each stop of the tour. (My husband particularly liked the tea shop, while I loved the spice market.) We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked another food tour (Chinatown) the next day! We hope to take the third tour that Food Planet offers next time we're in the city.

Before the tour we had only been to one of the establishments, so it was fun and interesting to visit the places on the tour. Each stop was unique, and we enjoyed them all. It was also great to hear some of the history of the area on our walk. We definitely want to try one of the other food tasting and cultural walking tours. Additionally, it was great to interact with some of the people on our tour that were not local.
