This is the second tour we have attended in a major US city, and once again we were completely satisfied. A good blend of shops, restaurants, and local lore delivered by two very pleasant, honest women. Arianna and Rebecca were outstanding. Thanks for the good time! |

A great, unique and fulfilling (in more than one way!) experience. Compined an interesting and knowlegable neighborhood tour with a series of great food tasting experiences that made for an entertaining and informative half day experience. We would have never know about all that was explained to us otherwise... |

I have traveled all over the world and for me to say that this was the best, most informative food tour I have been on means alot. The girls and their wealth of information was unreal. Not only did they know the history of the food also a wealth of information about the sites we saw during our walk....Hats off to all of you. |

I would highly recommend this tour. The two leaders were very knowledgeable, informal, funny, and just "fun" to spend time with. The stops seemed to have been carefully chosen, with a good range, and a good pace to the tour. I learned a great deal about a section of Chicago, about the specialties of the city, and about food in general. Coming from a smaller town, where such stores simply don't exist, I especially enjoyed the spice and oil shops. By the end of the tour I had been educated, gotten my exercise, had my appetite taken care of, and been delightfully entertained by the tour leaders. What more could anybody ask for? |

I thoroughly enjoyed the culinary walking tour. I got to see an area of town I normally would not have explored. I loved the history of the various sites along the way. Our guide(s) was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The food was great. We did go back the next day and make purchases at several of the places visited. We also ate at two other restaurants that the guides recommended. Thanks so much! |

I booked that tour because non of the others looked interesting and i was very happy with my decision. The tour guides were great, knew the neighborhoods well and the info that were sharing was great. The little local places that we visited were really awesome, Best stuffed pizza ever tasted was on that tour! Really pleasant walk, you don't feel 3 hours have been gone! My favorite places was the spice store, and the person that gave us little lecture was great. I am strongly recommending doing this tour!!! |

This was one of the best food tours that I have taken. I try to take a food tour in every city that I visit since they are always very informative and help locate the best food in town. The guides were very friendly and provided insight to many other places to visit as well that were not on the tour. I'm from Texas and... - Who knew that the best margarita I've ever had was in Chicago?!?
Great job! I would definitely recommend this tour and I will take another one the next time I am in town! |

This tour was a great way to combine good food with some city exploration. Our tour guide did a good job of describing the food we were eating as well as the places we were visiting. The guide provided other information as we walked from location to location, including city history and architecture. The pace of the tour was good. We did run over a little bit, but our guide warned us of that, in case someone had to be somewhere immediately after the tour. |

Loved the food, loved the tour, loved the tour guide- Nicki. It was great fun to be walking around Chicago with someone who knows the neighborhoods, without accidentally wandering somewhere you'd sooner have avoided. The food was all just great, not a clinker to be found. We will do another tour on our next trip to the city. |

Excellent tour guide! Informative walking tour, stopping along the way to munch. Detailed information about tea, spices, olive oils, chocolate, polish pastries, and pizza. at various stops.
So glad I made our reservations in advance so highly recommend plan ahead! This is a definite must do on a list when visit Chicago!!
We actually obtained information about two foods on the Wicker area tour and went there the next day to icream and Hot Chocolate. Advise to call adhead at Hot Chocolate as not regular store hours. They make their own marshmallows. |
