| I believe our tour leader was Nicki, she was awesome! Friendly, informative and very relaxing to be with. We learned a lot about the area, tasted some amazing food and yet felt not-rushed and very "vacationly". No pressure, just a very relaxing few hours.
I would recommend this to everyone and can't wait to visit Chicago again and take another tour.
Thanks. |

| It was so much fun to walk through the Chicago neighborhoods and find these interesting places to eat. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to fill us in on all kinds of fun facts. The samplings were wonderful, and the portions were huge. Don't eat a big breakfast before you go on one of these tours. We would do this one again anytime. |

| This tour offered our group (5 women on a get away weekend) with a sampling of a little bit of everything. Of course food, but also some history of the city, different architecture styles in diverse neighborhoods. Our tour guide, Jen, was the best! She was full of energy, very informed, bright, friendly and a pleasure to be with for over 3 hours. |

| We loved the tour. Our tour guide, Nicki was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We had a great time and can't wait to go back to Chicago to do the other tour! The stores were fun and a bit of the unusual from what we have in Texas. |

| I loved being able to see the different stores available in the area. Not being from Chicago we got pretty lost trying to go back to patron the stores. |

| It was our first time in Chicago and we only had three days to explore the city. I am glad we decided to go on this tour because it was fun and very informative. My personal favorite was the unexpected bits and pieces of trivia about the surrounding neighborhood and architecture as well as some background history as we walked. Even though we attended the tour at the end of our trip, I can see how this tour is really a must for those who are unfamiliar with downtown Chicago. Not only do you get to taste test along the tour, they give you all these coupons and recommendations for places to visit and dine after the tour.
All in all a very good tour to start off your Chicago trip and even if you're a local, I'd recommend the tour anyway because the specialty stores introduced on the tour are all worth a visit.
In short: the next time I visit Chicago, I would sign up for the other food tour (other loop) because I enjoyed this one so much. |

| I enjoyed our guide. She was thoroughly knowledgeable about the city and
its history. The walking tour and specialty shops along the way were very enjoyable.
I would not recommend the tour for eating in the sense that you would be satisfied
that you had eaten enough for a meal. The quantity was enough however the choices
offered at the beginning and end of the tour were not my favorite. |

| My friend from Florida and I had such fun. We are both older, one with one new knee, and myself with 2 new knees and 2 new hips. Nikky let us walk at our leisure and made sure we were comfortable. We took a taxi right back to the oil store and the spice store. I have been shopping through them but wanted my friend to see the insides of them. Brought home alot! We are going to get the tea place on the web.
Personally I loved the archetecturial (sp) information she would impart. I was born in Chicago but had never seen where we went. How could you not love it. Since I have been back am sending your information to other ladies who I told about it as they are real interested in the tour. Next time I come to Chicago I am bringing a cooler and heading right for the deli. Wonderful. Of course, you must remember the weather was perfect. The tour was better than I expected and would certainly tell anyone who would listen all about it. |

| We loved the food walking tour of Chicago!! Our guide Jeesie was Awesome!!! We were able to see first hand many small neighborhoods that we would have missed otherwise. We enjoyed all the stops especially the Spice Merchant and the Olive Oil store. It was my first visit to Chicago and the tour made it even more memorable. And we were able to purchase some unique Christmas gifts!! When in this great city go do the tour! The food was great!! |

| We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather for our walk, which made the day even more enjoyable. Caroline, our guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and made an effort to interact with each of us. Each stop was interesting; I especially enjoyed The Spice House. Next time in Chicago (and there WILL be a next time), I will definitely take another Chicago Food Planet tour. |
