`We are a gourmet group from St. Louis. We all loved the tour and our guide was GREAT. She was very informative and personable. The food tastings were very good and substantial. If we are in chicago again, we want to take your other food tour. Thanks for a memorable experience.

The weather on the morning of our scheduled tour was cool and rainy - I was very tempted to skip it, but SO GLAD we didn't!!! What a great way to visit the local shops and become acquainted with the neighborhoods. Our tour guide, Nicki, was fantastic - her knowledge was vast and enthusiasm contagious. The variety of stops satisfied everyone in the group. Be prepared - you will walk a lot! This is not the day to try out new strappy sandals. Can't wait to do the other tours offered!

I grew up in Chicago and work within blocks of the start of the Near North tour. I gave the tour to my Mom for Mother's Day as I thought it would be a fun mother/daughter activity. Not only did I sample food that I have never tried in Chicago but I learned alot of history along the walk. Our guide was very knowledgable and energetic - you would never know that she provides this tour multiple times a week because she delivered it with such great enthusiasm. The tour took a total of 3.5 hours and we walked under 2 miles total. That being said, we were both exhausted at the end of the tour, and our bellies were completely satisfied :) We cannot wait to go on the Bucktown/Wicker Park and the Chinatown tours next!!

I come to Chicago every few years for a three day weekend with friends and we were looking for something new and interesting to do. We all agreed it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. The beginning point of the tour was within walking distance of our hotel and that was a big plus. Our tour guide, Hillary, was wonderful and everyone on the tour was friendly. We loved walking in the Old Town and Lincoln Park area which we had never explored before. The small stores on the tour were so interesting that a couple of us retraced our steps and went back and bought some of their products. We would love to try the other tour next time.

I had so much fun on the food tour. We were able to taste lots of different foods, see some of the neighborhoods of Chicago and get lots of exercise walking. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you so much! I am a Personal Chef in the Seattle area..I think I need to check into a food tour in Seattle.

Interesting, Informative and Fun

I enjoyed learning about each of the establishments for the tasting in addition to learning about the history of the area, buildings etc. It gave me the opportunity to taste and visit establishments I had never heard about. It was a very enjoyable time and I have already informed many people about this tour. My friend and I are planning to go on the Bucktown Tour in November. I am equally excited and anticipating the different tastings in addition to the cultural surroundings of that tour as well.
