Near North Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour

The Food tour was informative and delicious! Definitely a great way to see the city!

My husband and I went with another couple who were in town visiting. We didn't know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. The added tidbits of history and architecture added into the walking portion made it a very enjoyable tour. Especially living in the Chicago area, we learned about places we would never have known about otherwise! I definitly recommend for both locals and visitors!

The Near North Food Tour was just great. Our guide was wonderful and very informative on everything. The food was great and filling. The two best places were the Tea and Pizza places. We shopped afterwards and enjoyed the walk back thru the city. Great for a girls day out or with your significant other.

You go to places you may never hear of. Jesse, the tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgable and a pleasure to be around. She was very sweet and made the tour all the better. We had been out late the night before, didn't feel very good and still had a great time. I am a vegetarian and there were options for me. The tea even made me feel better! You also get great coupons. There is no shopping during the tour, which is understandable, however it would be nice if you didn't have to retrace your steps to go back to the great spots and buy something. We probably had enough time at each stop to make purchases, but there was a rule not to and we didn't want to be ungracious.

We planned our weekend in Chicago specifically around the Food Tour on a recommendation from my sister-in-law. Although she had told us that it was absolutely wonderful, and our expectations were high, our guide, Jen, and the entire tour exceeded our expectations in every way! We highly recommend this tour, and plan to return for the other Chicago Food and Cultural Walking Tour as soon as possible. Jen was extremely knowledgeable, personable and interesting. She indeed seemed to be having a marvelous time herself - whether she was or not, she made OUR time that much better by her involvement!

This was a must! My friend and I had a ball with "Jen" learning the great food places of Chicago. She was very knowledgable and get us all interested. A great gift idea!

The walking tour gave us a look at Chicago we would not have seen and a wonderful tour of different and iteresting food cultures. Our guide caroline was a gem with plenty of information and suggestions and truly loved her work.

My daughter, friend and I enjoyed the walk, talk, and tastes very much. Looking forward to joining the Bucktown tour sometime in the future.

A friend and I spent a week end in Chicago recently and went on the tour. It was the highlight of our week end. Caroline (our guide) did a wonderful job. She was very enthusiastic, polite, well informed and had a great loud voice. The weather was perfect for our activity. The tour was wonderful. Learned a lot about the area, culture, architecture, food and the other folks on the tour. The merchants we visited were very hospitable, helpful and humerous. The walk was not strenuous at all. The amount of food consumed was just right. We received many coupons and special bargains that surpassed the cost of our tickets. I would do this again the next time I'm in Chicago or any other city that has this type of tour. A+++

I went to North town tour with my friend who was visiting me for weekend. Him and I were from Seattle orginally and I recently moved in Chicago. We couldn't ask better than this. Our tour guide Nikki was great. She was full of positive energy and fun, made us feel totally comfortable. The shops we stopped by were amazing. Me and my friend had to come back next day for extra shopping. The tour provided us coupon as well, what a deal! I highly recommend anyone who from our of town or new in town like me. I definately will try buck town tour with my parents when they come visit.
