Unique tour concept....really enjoyed all the stops....leader Shane was very informative and enthusiastic. I'd suggest just a bit more in the way of food samples....maybe a small side item at the first stop (deli) or the last one (pizzeria) as it does go almost 3 1/2 hours. The option to buy beer flight samples at the pizzeria bar was a nice bonus!

Loved it, but the walk to the last stop was a bit long. Or maybe I was getting a bit tired by then. Nicki was a great tour guide, and I learned much about Chicago, food, and products.

We had a great time, the weather was terrible, but the tour guide was fantastic and the food was fabulous.

This was a great tour -- you get to visit a lot of delicious shops and taste all they have to offer. My one issue I take is with the pizza place in Lincoln Park. While it was so incredibly delicious, there was a long walk in between Old Town to the final stop. I would have liked something in between to break up the distance, or maybe a seperate tour with Lincoln Park? Note you need to eat breakfast as this is not enough for a full meal. But it was a lot of fun!

Great opportunity to explore parts of Chicago otherwise unlikely to explore; good assortment of shops/foods/Nicki was a great guide

I highly and enthusiastically recommend the Near North Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour. This was a fun, entertaining, and educational experience. It was a great way to learn more about the history of Chicago, the different neighborhoods, and some of the unique retailers that we would not have otherwise happened upon.

I did this tour the first time with a friend last fall. This time I brought my husband, son and daughter-in-law. They all loved the tour as much as I! I think they (especially the men) thought I was crazy to be so excited about the places we visited, sights we saw and the Chicago history that our tour guide shared. After the tour, they were just as excited and want to take more, similar tours. Suggestion to Zerve: It would be beneficial to give parking suggestions to your customers. We thought we'd found on-street parking a block away. Although we saw no signs saying that residential permits were required in that area, we were ticketed for parking there. A note in your pre-tour info about parking options would be helpful.

We took the Near North tour on our first morning in Chicago, so that gave us several days to go back and make purchases. This is definitely the way to learn about new places and neighborhoods. When we go back, we'll take the other tour. Jessie was our tour leader. She was fun and informative.
