The food tasting and walking tour was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgable and enthusiastic. Our family's favorite stop was either the tea shop or the pizza place.. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that pizza in Chicago doesn't have to be deep dish. Overall, it was a great day. |

If only we had made time for the tour earlier in our trip! What a great way to see portions of the city away from the main "tourist areas". Our tour guide was enthusiastic and fun and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this tour. |

The Chicago food tour was great. It blended Chicago's culture and architecture with great food. They provided a nice variety and the samples were plentiful. The store employees/owners were very accommodating. Our guide, Nikki was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The only thing I would change is the fact that the ending location differs from the starting location. It was no problem for me, but I could see out of town people being a bit intimidated. But our guide was able to provide detailed directions (with different options) on how to go wherever you need. Definitely worth it! I wish they would offer more tours! |

My wife and I enjoyed the walking and food tasting tour very much. The tour guide was very knowledgeable . The length of the tour was about right and not too long. We did walk back to our starting point, but probably should have gotten a cab, as we were tired when we got back to our car. I would recomend this tour. |

Nicky (our tour guide) led us on a 2.5 mile path through Chicago's great neighborhoods and showcased a few of the best local eateries! We visited a range of food places from a spice shop to a chocolate lounge! Our group loved some of the places so much that we went back for more! Especially since we were given coupons for our return visits! Not only did we get to sample great food, but Nicky was extremely knowledgeable about Chicago history! We learned a lot about the neighborhoods that we walked through. Overall, the tour was well planned, well plotted and well timed! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago! |

This was a very good tour. Just a few minor suggestions. We felt the portions were a bit scarse. We had our 15 year old nephew with us so I don't think everything was satisfying. He would have liked more. I agree somewhat. At the deli only 1/2 of a potatoe pancake was served. At the spice shop you only got to taste a few spices. The pzza was fantastic at O'Fames!! The four in our party really enjoyed that. At least you got 2 pieces. Our guide, Nicki, was terrific. She really knew her stuff. Took us to places we've never been. Would have been nice if the group had been able to purchase some of the items at each establishment. Being south siders I can't say we'll get back in the northern areas anytime soon. And, what about the out of towners in the tour. I'm sure they would have like the opportunity to shop as well.
Overall, the tour was a pleasant surprise; interesting and we had fun. Thanks.
Are there any other food tours available? It would be nice to know for the future.

i almost felt bad that i was making my nieces (16 & 18) do this with me. it did not take long to see that they were really interested and enjoying our tour guide, nikki. i loved the shops we went to. each one was unique and interesting.
most of all, the knowledge that nikki shared, the history of chicago that she shared with us was so invaluable. there is so much we learned from her. my nieces raved about the tour! i only wish we had had the opportunity to do it right when we arrived in chicago -- so we could have gone back to the stores to do some major shopping!!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide was entertaining as well as informative.I would have enjoyed a few more bites of deli food and/or of goodies from the catering shop. |
