| Our Chicago Near North End tour was one of the highlights of our 2009 Labor Day weekend to Chicago. Nicki, our guide, was informative and pleasant; she knew the area and paced the walking tour, which was made up of people from ages 15-77, for everyone involved. Each stop was better than the last and each tasting was marvelous. Obviously, the shopkeepers and the tour company have built solid relationships because the businesses on the tour take time for their guests and freely answer questions and share their experiences. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys walking, informative, out-of-the-way locales and tasty food choices. |

| Nicky (sp?) was our guide. She was very nice, knowledgable and entertaining. She kept everyone on schedule. We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to others. We will definitely revisit some of the spots to do some more shopping. I have lived in the Chicago area for 52 years and it was the best time I have ever had in Chicago! |

| We wanted to try something different than the usual Gray Line Tours. Wow, we had a great time doing the Old Town tour with CFPFT. Our guide, Caroline ,give us good insights of the various neigborhoords we visited, the architecture, had great stories about Hugh Efner's mansion and simply made us at ease to visit the various shops part of the tour. We really enjoyed the tea shop, Old town oil, the spice house and the fudge shop (almost "all you can eat"!). Catering Chocolat has little interest and I'm glad we did not end up in the basement of the pizza joint like the group before us - that would have been a disappointment!
Plan enough time in your agenda, the tour is at least 3 hours and may go beyond shedule - and you'll need a bit of time to rest afterwords!
A great experience overall! |

| I attended this tour on a family reunion in Chicago. It was, by far, the favorite part of our trip! The food was amazing, and even if you are not a huge foodie, the architectural/historical knowledge of our tour guide alone would make for a very interesting tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago, whether or not you are interested in the food tasting. |

| I have to say that this tour was EXCELLENT. My girlfriend and I took this Near North tour and had a great time. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the whole area and not only took us to great spots for food but also talked about a lot of the architecture and history. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago and even the locals. The tour recommends all users NOT to buy items from the stores while on the tour to make sure we can complete the tour in a 3 hour time frame however this also really creates a "NO PRESSURE" atmosphere. In no way shape or form does this tour try to promote items in any store but rather gives you different experiences in the area. I look forward to going back to Chicago and taking the Bucktown / Wicker Park tour. |

| The tour was way more than expected. We originally thought we would receive a review on a handful of local eateries but inestead received a wealth of information about Chicago and the local neighborhoods too! The tour guide was very knowledgable and clearly enjoyed her job. The walk was a perfect distance and the stops were well planned out. No delay's, issues or problems occurred.
All of the stops were pefectly planned and we were not stuffed until the end with the slice of pizza.
Thanks for a great experience and a well-guided tour. A great value for travelers!!! |

| They were four couples in our group. Everyone enjoyed the walking tour not only did we taste some delicous foods we learned many things about teas, spices, olive oil and, balsamic vinegar that was new and informative to all of us. The day started with a tasty sandwich and ended with the best Chicago pizza we had while in town. As well, we learned so much about Chicago to include history, events, and historical buildings and places that we probably would not have seen if not for the tour. Would recommend the tour, and will probably now do other tours while in large cities. |
