This is the second Chicago Food Planet tour that we have participated. As in the Wicker Park tour, the Near North area was equally interesting and fun. We had a delightful, personable, cute and knowlegeable guide along with a trainee who added her own expertise. The choices of food stops were great. Our only suggestion would be to have a more circuitous route used to get back to one's transportation quicker. We would recommend that you consider dividing the tour into Lincoln Park area and Near North/Old Town. Plenty to see and do for each area. Can't wait for the Chinatown tour. |

Enjoyed the taste samplings as well as the architecture commentary along the way. Although we were warned before hand that we would need a taxi or other transportation to get back to the origin of the tour, it would have been nice if the tour eneded where we started. |

We (my wife, son, daughter-in-law, their baby and I) visited on the 17th of April. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and learned not only about some great food stores in the north end, but a lot of history and architecture along the way with our guide Hillary. Hillary kept the group entertained, engaged and wanting more as we walked the tour. Each stop along the way was informative and as we walked back, we actually stopped and shopped at 5 of the stops. We can't stop talking to our friends here in New York about the tour, and we can't wait for our visit in July when we are already planning on the Bricktown tour. Kudos to each of the stores, to your company and Hillary. Tom Farrell |

The food tour was thoroughly enjoyable, as much for the neighborhoods we explored, and what I learned about Chicago and its history and culture as the food. Our guide, Hillary, was very informative and fun, and the food was really good. Just received the olive oils I ordered after the tour so I can think about my visit every time I enjoy them. |

What better way to enjoy Chicago than walking through the neighborhoods and sampling great food? I found out that I DO like pastrami (I've already told my son that he has to go back there to buy it), that I DO like tea when properly prepared (I've always said "no thanks" to tea but no longer), brought home a catalog from the Spice House that is already marked up with things to order, and enjoyed foods from savory to sweet in some very neat little shops. Our tour guide educated us about the history of the city, the architecture, the neighborhoods, and the green spaces that we passed - even got to stand in front of the original Playboy Mansion. I believe that the actual route is more than the one mile they advertise but with comfortable shoes and clothing it is not a problem for the able-bodied. I highly recommend this tour and I plan to do the other two the company offers the next time I am in Chicago. |

Enjoyable walking tour, very informative. Suggested improvements would include more food stops and a better pizza place to end the tour. |

We've visited Chicago from Lousville and Cincinnati many times. This was a very enjoyable way to add a few new "favorites" to our list. Nicely organized and friendly group of 10 people. Thanks! |
