Near North Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour

A great, unique and fulfilling (in more than one way!) experience. Compined an interesting and knowlegable neighborhood tour with a series of great food tasting experiences that made for an entertaining and informative half day experience. We would have never know about all that was explained to us otherwise...

I purchased these tickets as something fun to do with my Mother who was visiting from VA. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for something interesting to do with out of towners or even as something to just do on a nice relaxed day.

Great food tour with Kent. My group of 4 included varied ages & all would recommend the tour. (My 17 year old, however, could not be convinced to try the vinegar & oil samples!) Good mix of food, architecture, local history and a beautiful day made for a great Chicago experience. Did return to Old Town later the same evening to shop with discounts & enjoy the area. Was concerned about the mile & half distance, but was no problem for someone like me who is pretty much out of shape. So, yes, definitely, take this Chicago Food Tour!! A great way to really experience the city & have fun learning!

Our guide was excellent and her knowledge was great. She pointed out little things around the neighbourhoods you'd never notice otherwise. I was doing this tour with my sister, I live in Chicago and she was visiting me. We had such a great time, and now I want to do the Buck Town one! We went back to do a bit of shopping a few days later and bumped into our guide on another tour! She was great, and pointed out a few extra things that she hadn't managed to show us on our tour. This couldn't come more highly recommended!

Even though it happened to be slightly rainy and a little chilly my husband john and I have a great time..we had a small group of 4 but we chatted along the way getting to know each other and we got to taste some awesome food along the way...our guide was very personable and informative and fun..when we go back to Chicago we plan on taking another tour.....

We recently had the opportunity to do both of the Chicago tours during the week of Thanksgiving 2009. My husband and I both felt the tours were outstanding. Each of the guides were extremely friendly and we found the tours educational and entertaining. The food was great and we would recommend either or both of the tours without hesitation.

The tour was great and enjoyable. My only negative thought is the emphasis on tipping. I don't like to be reminded to tip.

We enjoyed learning about the neighborhoods and the food was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable so we learned a lot about Chicago.

I had never been to Chicago before and would never have seen the lovely shops and neighborhoods if I had not taken the tour. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago!
