Better than expected, more walking than expected.

GREAT TIME! Exceeded my expectations. Didn't know how tea and spices could be so interesting, but they were! Special kudos to the tour guide, who provided a great deal of the information, even in the restaurants and shops! The only problem, a little more walking than suggested by the on-line information. My sister had a hard time keeping up, but she wasn't in perfect health. Other than that, a WONDERFUL way to see some of the neighborhoods of Chicago, whether for the first or the hundreth time!

Too Much Walking

The food was great; our guide, Heather was very informative and pleasant; the scenery and architecture were good. However, for our ages (62 and 65) the walk was a bit too far. We would not do it again.

FAVORITE activity in Chicago

I was joined by my daughter and two daughters-in- law for a girls' weekend in Chicago. I read about the food tour on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. So glad we did as we all felt it was our favorite activity of the weekend. Of course, the weather ( sunny and near 70' ) and our guide (Ariana) had a great deal to do with making the tour so wonderful. The food was great, but we also enjoyed learning little known tidbits about the neighborhoods and their inhabitants. All in all, well worth the money and time....great exercise, too, to get rid of all the calories we were eating!

We had an awesome tour experience. Would recommend to both locals and tourists. Not only was the food amazing, the educational experience was more than we could have asked for. If you don't do this tour you are truly missing out!! We had fun, learned a ton about the neighborhood and left feeling pleasently full. Thanks for a great afternoon CFP!!! We'll be back.............

Yes it is a Food Tour and yes there is food, and yes it was great food at each stop. But almost as important was the information that was given at each stop. Both my wife and I cook and the tour has changed the way we look at cooking, especially in the area of spices. A great tour and lots of fun.

Our tour leader was outstanding. She was cheerful, helpful, and provided excellent insight of the area. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone. The spots that we stopped at were great and the store employees were very helpful.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and me. We had been to Chicago before to see the usual sights and wanted something personal and different. Our group of 14 was diverse, yet everyone loved the tour. The guide, Jennifer, was knowledgeable, fun and made each individual feel welcome. The tour even ran overtime because of all the interest our group showed in the sights. If you want to see three different neighborhoods, a number of unique shops and restaurants, sample great food, see diverse architecture, learn some interesting history and spend a fun 3 to 4 hours exploring Chicago's north side, do not miss this tour. We can't wait until we can return to take their new tour.
