I had a great time on the food tour despite the cold and wind. The food was excellent and I loved that it was mostly local family owned businesses. There was a lot of history provided as we walked from place to place.

For a first timer to Chicago, it was definitely a good starting point to get a more intimate feel for Chicago. The choices and order of food tasted and visited was excellent. We were fortunate to have a good weather day with lots of sun, and our tour guides kept us going at a good walking pace.

Our tour guide Heather was very energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. I really enjoyed myself and would not hesitate to recommend this tour to others. I left knowing a good deal of interesting tidbits about the Chicago area and can't wait to come back and do some more exploring on my own and perhaps trying your other guided tours in the area.

Great combination of food and neighborhood tour

We had been open to the possibility that this would be too "touristy" for seasoned travelers, but it was actually fun and informative. While giving us information about local foods and their place in Chicago food history, we were exposed to information about the neighborhood that we would not have found out, and made us feel more "at home" in the city. I HIGHLY recommend this tour; I wish we had had time to do the other one. Great guide- wish I could remember her name!

This was an amazing experience! I personally live in the city and found so many great places I didn't know about on the tour. You are definitely full afterwards too! Part of my group was from the suburbs and they can't wait to get back to the city to go back to the places we found. Our tour guide was incredible and very knowledgable. I recommend this to anyone that wants to enjoy everything Chicago has to offer!

Awesome tour

We like taking a walking tour of local area that isn't touristy in such a big city. The tour guide really helped identify what we would likely just pass and not know the significance of the shops/stores/buildings/parks that are in the area. The food certainly helps, especially good food, and this tour offered plenty. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends/family.
