The guide was friendly and entertaining, the restaurants interesting and welcoming. The bits of local history and architecture were a great way to fill the time between stops. |

We enjoyed the tour - it was an interesting way to see inside some of the neighborhoods in Chicago and sample some food from popular shops/restaurants within those neighborhoods. The tour guide highlighted some of the architecture and landmarks as we walked each neighborhood. Alot of fun and a great way to see the city from a different perspective. |

Fun! You WILL need your best walking shoes. Tourist? Do this at the beginning of your visit to Chicago and you will have a much better idea of what you will want to eat/do while there. I should have taken small umbrella or rain jacket. Zerve was the easy way to get tickets. Thank you! |

Our guide Shane was very knowledgeable about not only the tastings but also a great deal about the city including architecture, landmarks and so on. I would recommend this walking tour to anyone & everyone who visits the city. The tastings were exquisite as well.

We had a great experience! Even though we have been to Chicago before, felt like we learned a lot about the neighborhoods and businesses along the way. |

I was expecting a "food tasting" tour. The food we tasted was small and not what I expected. My best half loved the tour on the other hand. She was happy with the chocates and cheese we tasted. I needed more substance. The tour guide was great, honestly I would had been bored if it wasn't for his lively commentary. The places we walked to were interesting and probably would had never seen had we not taken the tour. |

We enjoyed the neighborhood tour with descriptions of architecture styles. We never would have visited these areas on our own. The food was less in quantity than we expected, but quality was good. Best stop for us, the Spice Shop. We recommend this tour. |

We enjoyed the tour & thought it was a great way to see parts of the city that on our own we probably would not have seen. Thad (our guide) was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Our young adult children (17-21) both enjoyed it as well. It is a lot of walking so be prepared! |

Even though we live in a suburb of Chicago and frequently visit Chicago, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We learned new tidbits about the city and enjoyed restaurants that were "new" to us. The food was delicious and we had plenty to eat. Nicky, our tour guide, was energetic and very friendly. |

Our group of six, ages 17 to 58, enjoyed the tour very much.We had generous samples at all but one of the tastings. The one supposed tasting was some cinnamon on our hand. Although this spice place was really neat and the owner was very entertaining it didn't seem like that should have been considered one of the official tastings. She could have made a dip with some of the spices to go with crackers or something else that showed off her spices. Otherwise, the tour guide was interesting and we learned a lot about the Chicago that not everyone sees. We took the guides recommendation on one of the restaurants to come to in the evening and everthing was perfect there. It was Hugo Frogs. |
