| I wish I had known that there was alot of walking and not much tasting. As a Senior citizen it was at times difficult to do that much walking. The history of the areas we walked through was interesting and our tour guide made it more alive. Price a bit high for all of the walking and less tasting that was done.
Wish there had been more time to make a purchase or 2 at some of the shops. I never had time to get back to them nor the ability to walk back. |

| I really enjoyed this tour. I learned a lot about the history of Chicago. The advertising (the name and pictures on the brochure) led my group and I to believe that this was an actual eating tour--like different foods that Chicago is famous for, not spices, oils, and tea--even though it ended up being really cool. In the future, I think that they should advertise the stops that are on the food tour and a more accurate description. |

| I really enjoyed this tour. They give you some history and architecture on the tour. Everything I sampled was excellent. However, you will not be given any time to buy items at the shops where you stop. I believe that was the only drawback. I understand the time constraint, but I would have been happy extending the tour by an hour or two so I could buy some items. Be prepared to walk! |

| Our guide was Nikki. She was wonderful. The tour took us through several neighborhoods that we visited again and again while we were in town. The stops were also very unique. You would never visit them on your own. The oil and spice shop were really off the beaten path, but I'm so happy I was introduced to them. I see a long relationship between me and the oil shop. But I loved all of the places.
The information that was given to us on the tour was also excellent. I know so much more about Chicago now. I even bought the book "The Devil in the White City" about the World Fair because it was mentioned on the tour. Ending at Ethel's chocolate shop was a perfect end to the tour. My friend and I went back every day.
The map and coupons were something we used the rest of the trip. I do wish the map was a little more detailed, but we worked it out.
I'm looking forward to future taste tours offered by Chicago Food Planets in other neighborhoods until I have eaten everywhere in Chicago. |

| this was a great tour!
All the tour stops were interesting & educational. The store-keepers were welcoming
and friendly.
My sons, 11 and 16 enjoyed the tour and even ate pizza with spinach (these are
hard-core pepperoni lovers!) with absolutely no complaints, I think they actually liked it!
We went on this tour at the end of our Chicago visit, now I wish we'd had more time
in Chicago to visit some of the interesting places we passed by on the tour. |

| If you are like me, and normally do not enjoy tours, I highly recommend this one. The groups are small and the tour guides are personable and engaging. Walking around, I did not feel like a tourist, only a local walking with a group of friends. All the samples offered were fantastic. Make sure you bring an empty stomach, the portion sizes are huge and a great value for what you pay. |

| I wish we would have went on the first day in town because we didn't get a chance to go back to all the shops and cool places we passed along the way. We did our tour on the last day and we had a plane to catch. It was really fun and a great way to see neighborhoods that are not tourist traps. The food was great and the local merchants were pleasant and willingly to share their crafts. I highly recommend doing this tour. |

| Nice variety of food tasting interspersed with local and historical insights. The spice store was unusual and informative, as was the oil and vinegar store. Bacino's pizza was exceptional. A nice introduction to neighborhoods and businesses. |
