The food was a great slice of Chicago. The neighborhoods and architecture were lovely and the walk was easy. Have told several friends what fun we had. Thank you for a new look at Chicago.

Great experience overall, really enthusiastic guide who was super knowledgable about the history and told us lots of interesting historical facts without being pushy or boring, and kept the flow of the tour at the perfect pace. Just the right amount of walking vs. eating, great order (tea place was an awesome break from pizza) and terrific restaurants. I can't say enough about the guide, but the food was also amazing. All the places along the way treated us super well (not at all like a groupon experience where the companies generally hate having you there). I'd love to take my family to all these places when they visit, but I realized for the price (which is reasonable considering the amount of food you get) and quality, it is worth just taking them on a tour! Sure you could go to all these places yourself on your own mini tour (which is encouraged, the places are amazing), but I felt that it was totally worth it to pay for the tour. And I'm a poor college student, so that is saying a lot!

Such a great time tasting wonderful food, learning how it's made, charming neighborhoods, local history. Jess was a fantastic guide and was great with the one child who was along on the tour. If you take a child make sure they are mature enough to be around adults for a long period of time and are open to trying new things. We had a blast--thank you!

Our friendly and knowledgable guide took us to interesting places and introduced us to a variety of foods. My sister, my nieces (ages 12 and 14), and I enjoyed every minute. We tried foods that we would never have discovered on our own. We found some new favorite stores that gladly ship products to your home. We learned more about the neighborhoods and Chicago's rich history. We got a bit of exercise. We met people from all over the world. In our small group of 16, many states and countries were represented. We loved it and plan to do another tour when I next visit Chicago. I highly recommend the tour.

My mom, sisters, aunt, and cousin just took this tour last weekend. Despite the fact that it rained throughout the entire tour, it was still our favorite part of the weekend! The tour guide (Jess) was informative and easy to talk to and she did a great job. What we got to "sample" was more than enough for lunch, so the price of the ticket isn't bad when you think that you get your meal with it! The historical/educational part of the tour was very interesting, and Jess recommended a book to read about the Chicago Worlds Fair (The Devil in the White City). Overall, it was a great tour, we definetly recommend it to anyone! There were people on our tour from Chicago and from other states, so it sounds like this is a tour for everyone!
