| Nikki was our tour guide & she was great! We visited numerous culinary jewels & got an amazing look at the numerous beautiful home styles. The tastings & info sessions were great! I would highly recommend this tour & try to do it before your last day so you have time to come back & shop & eat at the wonderful locations!.. Bravo!!! |

| Excellent walking tour, with nice neighborhood info from our guide, Nikki. She was very personable, fun, energetic, you could tell she enjoys her job. The places we went were interesting and eclectic. My husband and I visit Chicago all the time but did not know of these places and it was nice to have our eyes opened to new parts of the city and the stores and restaraunts. Highly recommend and would do it again. |

| We did a small group company outing and all really enjoyed the tour! We were able to go to places we had never been despite the fact that all of us were from Chicago. The tour guide was excellent and we would consider doing this again! Thanks! |

| Kate was so knowledgeable, not only about the food, but about the stores' and the area's history. She kept us moving, but we never felt rushed. Eat before you go, because the only real "food" is the pizza at the end. But, it is a huge and delicious piece! |

| I thought the duration was a bit short compared to the 90 minute advertised trips by CAF (even then, the tour started at 11:05 and ended at 11:55... lost 10 minutes!), but it was an okay amount of time for my wife who wasn't an architecture buff. For a 60 minute tour, the detail was appropriate and entertaining. Would have preferred that it was more interactive and less scripted though. A couple of times I felt like the tour guide could have gone into a little more detail about the back-story for some of the sites. Otherwise, a very good and entertaining tour. |

| We are 5 women who grew up in Chicago and never saw some of the things that we saw on this tour. It was very interesting. Our leader (Jennifer) was very well informed and seemed to be having as much fun as we did. The tastings were great and introduced us to some new things. We are looking forward to other tours that you might be offering in the future. Keep up the good work. |

| Our guide was Kent, and he was wonderful. He engaged each of the individuals on different parts of the tour as well as kept the group entertained, as a whole. Some of the food places weren't incredibly interesting to me (ex. The Spice House, a tea place), but others were very worth it. Kent gave us a lot of historical and cultural information about the areas we were walking through, which weren't areas we would have even visited had it not been for the tour, so we learned a lot.
Be Prepared To Walk! It's about 2.5 miles, and it's a lot of walking and stopping, so it seems longer than that. (Our group took about 3.5 hours! I noticed the group who left ahead ahead of our group seemed to have lost some of its "portly-er" guests when they walked by us near the end; I'm guessing these people grabbed a taxi when they got tired.)
Also, it's not a lot of food until the end. So don't go hungry! By the end—even starting on a full stomach—you'll still be ready for a slice of heavenly pizza. Enjoy! |
