It was a great experience!Heather did a great job!

It was a great experience for me! Heather, our tour guide, did a great job explaining things (food and architectures). I especially enjoyed reuben sandwich, the old town oil and also stuffed pizza!!! The only comment I want to make is that I wish the Fudge store was the last shop to visit, because I could not resist eating chocolate from the fudge store that I couldn't fully enjoy delicious stuffed pizza. (I understand that the location wise, it might not be possible....) Overall, I loved this food tour and I am willing to do another tour that they offer when I visit Chicago again!

We had Jess as a guide. Her enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the foods and Chicago's history made this one of the best activities we particpated in during our trip.

Fabulous tour. Loved, loved, loved the food and being introduced to some local secrets. Be sure to give yourself a couple of hours to backtrack the tour so you can shop at the stores on the tour and some surrounding stores. I can't wait to go back and visit the stores again and maybe take some different friends on the tour!

Heather was our guide. She did an excellent job of describing the food we were exposed to as well as pointing out the characteristics of the various neighborhoods and special unique houses on our route. (Jim Connors is the reviewer not Joy Connors)

Had a great time seeing the "non-touristy" stuff

We had an awesome time on our walking tour of old town. We enjoyed the food and met some nice people. The guide was very good, but kept insisting that he tried to be entertaining. He was very easy to listen to and his stories were neat. He told the stories well, so he doesn't need to try to be funny. His knowledge was great for the area. The variety of food was awesome! We enjoyed all of it--even got a few ideas from Christmas shopping. Thanks for a great experience.

What a way to see the north side

Everything about the tour from the shops to seeing the neighborhoods was well worth it. In fact, we plan to do another tour in Chicago next year and will even look for a hotel in the north side area so we can enjoy more of what the neighborhood has to offer.

Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and informative with interesting information about each restraunt/store we stopped at. She gave great Chicago history while walking and pointed out great points of interest and architecture along the way. A great way to see the neighborhoods, learn more about them and some very interesting & tasty stops along the way. We were very full at the end.My foodie sister loved it and I did too! I would highly recommend it!!!

Only one recommendation

Our trip was wonderful, informative, and filling!!! Loved our guide and each stop along the way. The only recommendation I'd make is to end the tour where you begin. I wasn't expecting to walk or take transportation back to the neighborhood where I began. I missed that information if it is listed in the description of the tour. Not a big deal though but unexpected.
