Highly Recommend this tour! Very, Very enjoyable

The tour was very well organized and we saw a lot of Chicago that we would not have otherwise had the oportunity to visit. The portions of the food and drinks that we received on the tour were very generous, and excellent quality. The tour guide " Kent" was friendly, knowledgeable and had a wonderful rapport with the staff/owners at all the locations that we visited. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the preparation and appreciation of good food, and experiencing another aspect of Chicago.

Perfect way to learn something new about your home

Work colleagues and I attended the walking tour as something 'new' to try--and we were so pleased we did! Each of us learning something new, visited a new shop or restaurant, and ate some yummy food. The weather was perfect for our trip and our guide, Kent was resourceful, pleasant, and energetic. I would easily recommend this for locals and tourists alike! Note: This tour is not for persons with infants or toddlers--the amount of walking and locales do not lend themselves to strollers--and crying babies can really inhibit the ability to listen to the tour guide.

Learned much about tea and spices that we didn't know. Went back after the tour to a number of shops and made purchases. Was so nice to get into and learn about the older neighborhoods and off the tourist path. Our guide knew his material and gave so much info. Was a fun family event, with adult children. Not good for small children, or the people on the tour, when little kids are screaming or crying!

It's a nice walk with a lot of background information on the history of Chicago and the neighbourhoods we went through and some buildings on our way. Interesting stuff to taste and again a lot of background information about the food. Or the people who own the shops. I hade a lot of fun and would do it again.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food tour. The places we stopped were each unique. The tour guide was most informative, we learned a lot about the culture, history and architecture of the 3 neighborhoods we visited. The food was great. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great Tour!

Tour guide was wonderful and enthusiastic. Just the right amount of food and walking to burn it off. Only downside was that we were not able to purchase anything from the locations during the tour, we would have to come back to do it. From a tourist aspect, that probably isn't going to happen unless you're pretty local.

It was nice to learn the fun facts of our great city and trying the oils and getting backstage at the spice house and fudge pot was memorable. not sure if it was worth $50 though! great for the tourists.

This was our first food tour and glad we booked it. With that being said, it won't be our last. Our tour director, Heather, was fun and factual. The stops we made were informative and were something we wouldn't have done on our own. My husband and I went back to a couple of these stores after our tour ended and purchased their products. We also went to one of the restaurants that they recommended and were very pleased. Keep up the good work and we will be back to go on another tour soon.

fun but not worth the price. Strange how you don't end at the starting point & have to find your way back.
