Near North Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour

I didn't expect this to be such an informative tour. There was a mix of food, history, architecture and fun. There was plenty to eat at our tasting stops and my guide was knowledgable and entertaining.

I had been to Chi before. This time I tried very good food. I am open again to the reuben, thanks to you!

Wir waren eine nette Gruppe, von "Jung" bis "Alt" und hatten viel Spass. Unser Tourguide "Jess" hat einen sehr guten Job gemacht. Es war kurzweilig, interesant, lustig und vor allem " Lecker" mhm!!! Besides the great selection of culinary treats, our tour guide was very entertaining and bursting with information. Great way to see Old Town and Lincoln Park. Also, much preferred to the large crowds dowtown at Taste of Chicago.

The tour guide Ariana was great! She enjoys what she does and it shows. The food on the tour was so good and I would've never known of these gems if it wasn't for this tour. I went back to the stores after the tour to make some purchases for myself and some gifts as well. The people at the stores and restaurants on this tour were so friendly and very imformative. I would've never learned so much about the products without their demonstration or information they provided. I have already recommended this tour to over a dozen people. You've gotta do this tour!

My husband was in Chicago for business, and I tagged along for my first trip to the city. I signed up for this thinking I'd get to sample some local food...and I DID, but I got so much more... Our tour guide, Arriana, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and offered lots of information on Chicago's architecture and history. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour (and the rest of my trip) and will definitely take the Bucktown/Wicker Park one the next time I go to Chicago. In summary: good food, great expeience, fantastic guide

I took both the Bucktown and Near north tours. Hillary was by far a better, more enthusiastic friendly guide than Kurt. I felt like Kurt was looking down on me. But the food on the Bucktown tour was much better.

The 3 hours seem to fly by. The food was great and our guide gave us lots of information about the the area we were walking in and the places we stopped at. This is not a tour for those who are fussy or don't like to walk. I would not recommend this tour for children.

I have made the trip to Chicago numerous times. Each time I look to do something new and different. This time I decided to take a food tour. This was the best tour that I have taken in a long time. Not only did I have the opportunity to go to "mom and pop" places and some "hole in the wall locations" but our tour guide also provided us with information about each location and the neighborhoods we walked through. Each place we visited was very pleasant and welcoming. I had the best ruben and slice of Chicago style pizza on the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has time in Chicago and does not want to do the normal tourist things. Our guide was very helpful on providing additional information about the Chicago area and information for public transportation for those who were not familiar with the "L"

I took this tour as a single person. Even though I was the only single person on the tour, I had a GREAT time and never felt "left out" in any way. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable and assured that everyone was having a good time. I have been to Chicago MANY times and this tour showed me areas of the city that I had never seen. I can't wait to go back and do the other tours.
