Jess was awesome. She knew all of our names and was interactive with us as a group. She told us great stories of the city and maintained all of our attention whether we were 10 or 70. It was a great day, a little hot, but all in all a great day, the only thing I would change is an opportunity to shop at the stores, maybe set a 5 minute limit after the allotted time of browsing.

A fun and filling way to spend the afternoon

Loved this tour eating our way through some of Chicago's most interesting and beautiful neighborhoods. The reuben sandwich on the first stop was the best I've had, and the toffee candy at the Fudge Pot was fantastic...plus all the other food stops we're wonderful. You will be stuffed at the end of the tour (eat a light breakfast). Our tour guide, Jess, was knowledgeable and fun. I learned so much about food at each stop, and as we walked through town she pointed out some interesting architecture, and some fascinating Chicago history as well. This tour was a bargain! I would go again!

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Chicago!! I was born and raised here, but still learned so much on this tour. Not only was there plenty of information about the foods and the area, but lots of neat facts about the city itself. Our tour guide, Heather, was knowledgeable, full of energy, and had a great sense of fun about her. Another cool aspect was meeting people from all over the place as everyone in our group was from out of state. I would highly recommend a Chicago Food Planet tour!!

We did the Near North tour. All five members of my family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Loved all our stops and the area is absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide, Heather, was very personable and knowledgable and we never felt rushed. Definitely need to wear comfortable shoes!! Would recommend this tour and would try one of the others if we visit again.

The food tastings were great, and was more than enough to fill us for lunch! When we went, the weather was great so the 3 hour walk was easy. I loved the architectural aspect!

Our enthusiastic tour guide gave us a detailed tour of local businessess as well as neighborhoods. We consisted of a mother/daughter group of six, both local and international. We enjoyed all aspects of the tour, food and architecture. I would highly recommend this tour as it enabled us to experience many aspects of Chicago that we would normally not have learned about. Thank you!
