Gold Coast & Old Town Food Tasting & Cultural Tour

Our family wanted to get together to celebrate my sister's birthday and thought this tour would be a fun family event. It did not disappoint!! Our tour guide, Hillary, was excellent! She was informative, had a great sense of humor and answered all our questions. The food was amazing and the historical part of the tour was so interesting! We did had a family member in a wheel chair. The tour was accommodating, however, the sidewalks of Chicago were somewhat resistant! This tour is doable with a wheel chair, but please know that it may be a bit bumpy! Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed everything about the tour! We are already talking about which tour we will be taking next.

The guide was wonderful. She was very enthusiastic and personable. What I would have preferred was the ability to make purchases while on tour. It was far too much trouble to back track to shops to make purchases. This is a major draw back in my view.

Not only was it good food but I learned alot about Chicago. Our tour guide guide was very very good!!

It was a rainy day but the tour was fantastic. The tour guide was very informative and fun. She made the tour fun for all included. Thought it was a fun and compacted way to see a very exciting part of Chicago. Thanks again.

This was the only tour I scheduled from home, and I was very satisfied! The guide, Kent, was fun and kept things moving. The group was the right size to fit in the little shops. The seven shops were chosen for high quality and they delivered! The map provided was a useful touch - I wish I had the time to go back and shop. (I will shop online for some of them.)

Great tour. Our tour guide was excellent; full of energy and excited to take us on the tour. She was very knowledgeable about the city, local area, and the businesses we toured. I would like to go back to Chicago and take some of the other food tours!

Everything about the tour is fantastic. The food is varied and delicious. The information shared by the tour guide as well as the proprietors of the food establishments is interesting, entertaining and useful. The experience is enjoyable on many, many levels. I've taken this tour a couple of times and will take it again. I like to share it with friends from out of state.

Not knowing exactly what to expect, as we had never done this before, we were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Our guide "Jess" was so much fun, very informative, so cute and personable. We will definitely recommend this and also plan to do another one next summer with the family.

We were taken into an area in Chicago that we would have never known about and had the priviledge of experiencing the local "flavor" and history of the neighborhood. The tastings were well thought out and delicious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique Chicago experience.
