My husband and grown daughter (who has lived in Chicago for about 5 years) took the tour together. Nicole was a great hostess and warmly shared much information and enthusiasm. We learned so much more about the neighborhoods we visited, loved the walk, and so enjoyed the foods that we tasted. Nice choice of venues. We will certainly go back to these shops/restaurants. We enjoyed it as visitors and our daughter loved getting to know some new information about her town and some new places to shop and eat! Would highly recommend this and we will take another tour in a different area next time we are back. My husband doesn't usually enjoy Chicago (traffic, etc.) but this really made our trip enjoyable and he is ready to return! Groupon helped introduce us and now we are hooked! Thanks to Nikki who helped with the Groupon! Thank you for this experience!!!!! |

We knew all the stops and what to expect--yet, it was still exciting the third time in 3 years because we were showing our friends how great it was. Thank you |

The tour guide we had made this event fun, relaxing and educational. It was great to learn about the different shops and how things were prepared as well as learn about the landscape that surrounded the various stops. We thouroughly enjoyed the experience and have already recommended it to friends who are planning on going to Chicago. Definantely a must see and do event. |

I found the tour to be very enjoyable. It was informative as well as delicious. Our tour guide, Kent, was very interesting. The food stops were well paced and of a good variety. I only wish I could have stayed in Chicago longer so that I could go back to some of the stops and/or take another one of the tours of another neighborhood. I will definitely do another tour on a return visit to Chicago. |

My husband and I love to take food tours as a way of introduction to a city. And I always feel safe taking a tour on my own in a strange city which is what I did on this tour. This was a great tour! Lots of wonderful stops-spices, pastries, pizza, oils and vinegars, chocolate!!! And a lot of history about the neighborhood! A great value too! |

Completely enjoyed our very knowledgeable guide, the tastings and the walking history tour! We returned later to make purchases and received discounts at the businesses- that was an added bonus! |

The deli sandwich was the best I had ever tasted! We wished we could have shopped as we toured as it was our final few hours visiting Chicago; however, the oil/vinegar shop was very helpful and can ship to Canada. We only wished the tea company & spice company had the capacity to do the same - memorable day. Would highly reccomend! |

This tour is wonderful....samplings are delicious, tour guide is friendly and knowledgeable, and the sense of history in these Chicago neighborhoods flows through the food and stories told by the guide. Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to explore Chicago's food culture. |

I was lucky enough to experience the Near North Food Tour this past weekend and had a blast. Our guide was very knowledgable, fun, kind and very approachable. The food we encountered was light but filling. The walk was fast pased but not too much. TONS of great historical info given on the walks and on location. This will definitely not be not be my last tour! |
