Chinatown Food Tour

This was our second Chicago Food Tour and they get better all the time. Our Chinatown guide, Ploy?, was terrific. Her masterful speaking ability makes the difference on food tours. The choices of food and restaurants were specific to the different types of Chinese food. The water taxi back to Michigan Ave was a great choice too!

We had a cousin's reunion and decided to go on the Chinatown food tour. We had gone on the other food tours in Chicago previously. We all agreed that the Chinatown tour was one of the best! We loved our tour guide, Alia! Very enthusiastic and really gave us a lot of history and insight in Chinatown. The food was excellent and we had a nice variety of entres and side dishes at each restaurant! Definitely would go again!!

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and experience Chinatown. Our group meshed well, the weather was fantastic, the food delicious, and our tour guide could not have been better. Alia was knowledgeable and extremely personable. We had a fabulous time. One note--Please add additional Chicago-area tours--I've now been on all three, and have had great experiences. Would love to go to more.

We totally enjoyed our recent food tour in Chinatown. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and very enthusiastic. We ate lots of differant kinds of foods. visited many interesting places. Be aware that some of the food is very spicy. And you will not be eating what you might normally order at a Chinese restaurant.

Took my 69 year old mother, we are both ready to book another. Our tour guide Jess I believe was awesome. Very knowledgable and a great personality. I will definitely refer this to my friends and family. Thanks so much!!!

This was a great food tour, very well organized and fun! Jessica the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, basically knew everything about not only the Chinese food that we were trying but all about the culture as well. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Who knew how easy it is to get around Chinatown and how much there is to do there? Well, Alicia our guide knew! She was so excellent with her info as we went from venue to venue and strolled down the streets. This carefully thought-out itinerary was well-paced and delicious! My knowledge of China and its regions and food was definitely increased. This tour has made me feel comfortable in Chinatown and I know I will go back on my own. Fabulous value and so nicely executed. ' This is our second extremely positive experience with one of your walking tours. Well done!

Take the tour, great fun and food

We had been to dinner in Chinatown a few times, but didn't realize the scope of how many restaurants there are there and how developed the area is. We totally enjoyed our tour, our guide, Lisa, was fun and informative. The food was really great too.
