The Chicago Food Tour was so much fun. We got to see places that we would have never known about and to try wonderful things at each destination. Our guide was very knowledgable about each of the places that we visited as well as the city as a whole. We hope to be able to do one other tours in teh future.

My husband and I did the Near North Food Tour and loved every second of it! The tour guide, Jessie, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgable about both Chicago and food. She was so much fun! The tastings were fantastic and we loved that we got to see areas of Chicago we may not have seen otherwise. This tour is a MUST for anyone who loves food and wants to learn more about Chicago!

This tour was really good. My sister, daughter and I all enjoyed it enormously. The speciality food shops were interesting to see and it was good to be taken to places a bit off the beaten track, which we normally wouldn't have gone to. The Oil Tree shop and Spice Shop I particularly liked and, of course, the Fudge Shop! I liked the fact that these were mainly traditional family based businesses, using fresh and/or local produce. We went back the same day and bought some tangerine oil and some spices and, of course, chocolate! Our guide, Ariana, was lovely - very pleasant and informative, telling us lots of interesting stories. Ariana - sorry we missed you at the end of the tour - we were so busy enjoying the lovely pizza that you had already gone by the time we left. Keep up the good work!

We didn't know what to expect and hoped that we would find something of interest on this tour. From the moment Jennifer introduced herself, I knew this would be a fun event. We learned so much about Chicago and the foods and stores that we visited. Jennifer was truly outstanding!

Our journey through the gustatory pleasures of Bucktown and Wicker Park were a total delight. Ben's obvious enthusiasm (and hilarious sidebar commentary) made the afternoon very funny as well as tasty, and I would recommend the tour to absolutely anyone visiting Chicago. You do definitely need to arrive hungry, and the organization of the tour could probably be altered to space out the eating sessions a bit more, but we had a great time -- and my sister and I stuck around the neighborhood for a good 90 minutes afterwards to browse further.

Did the Bucktown tour a few weeks earlier....... Both tours were good, and felt the Bucktown was the best of the two. Both guides excellent, but there was more food on the Bucktown.

My husband and I embarked on the food tour with high expectations and boy were they met and exceeded! We had such a wonderful time. In fact, it was the highlight of our trip. It really allowed us to see other areas around the city that we would never have seen on our own. We visited so many wonderful stores that we went back to afterwards! We have recommended this tour to our family and friends. When we return to Chicago we will surely check out the other food tour as well! Go on this tour..... you will not be disappointed! My husband and I loved this tour, so much so, that we can't wait to take the Bucktown Tour next. Not only was it very informative and tasty, but we met very interesting people in our group. Our guide, Caroline was wonderful and very 'perky'. Even though the weather was HOT, she kept things lively. I would highly recomment this tour to anyone, even if you've lived in the area for awhile. We learned so many things about the neighborhood that we hadn't known before and now we have new places to eat the next time we're in Chicago!

Our tour guide Jess made our experience excellent. I was very proud to be a resident of Chicago and be a part of the great history and food that our great city has to offer. My husband and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and the Buck town and Wicker park tour was an excellent start to a great anniversary. The food was great and plentiful. If you are a lover of good food, history, architect and great professional company then Bucktown and Wicker Park is the tour for you. I proudly recommend it. I enjoyed all the food experiences but the most innovative and delicious one had to be the i cream shop.

As food service providers, our group enjoyed this great activity. This was not a traditional class room seminar. It provided time to share with co-workers, walk a little, eat a little, walk more, ... As a corporate food service group we loved this out of the box experience. The customer service from each establishment was great; but the guides on our tours were extremely knowledgeble and fun. The group enjoyed the fun facts of the neighborhood and it provided folks who frequently visit downtown Chicago, new vistas to explore on their return trips!

this was my 2nd time doing the taste tour. both times it was great. the guides were very interesting and energetic ladies. very knowlegable of the stops and buildings we walked passed. the food at each place was awesome. the pizza at the end was fabulous. i normally don't like deep dish pizza because it's too greasy. this was NOT greasy at all. very tastey. i love the whole thing. infact i'm doing it again next week!!!
