| I enjoyed the whole 3 hours. The places that were chosen were a great mix of food cuisines. I expecially enjoyed the archectectural aspect. The guide gave us a good history lesson. I would recommend to all my friends. | ||||||

| Even though my husband and I live in the Gold Coast area, we loved the tour and learned a lot about the food/deli speciality shops...especially in the Old Town area. Our grown children were with us. This tour is for adults or teens. We are looking forward to doing other food/cultural tours in both Chicago and other cities. | ||||||

| I'm always looking for something fun to do that's off the beaten track, and this tour was perfect. Even though I live in Chicagoland, I have not been to Bucktown or Wicker Park much. I was surprised at all the neat little restaurants and the variety of food that was offered on this tour. I actually had to "take-away" the falafel - I just couldn't eat anymore! I also love architecture, and really enjoyed having the details of some special homes pointed out during our walk around Wicker Park. The history about the area was also very interesting. Kent was our tour guide - I thought he was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour. I have also been on the Near North Food Tour. I enjoyed that one as well - it is completely different and goes through more neighborhoods (but is a longer walk). | ||||||

| I believe our tour leader was Nicki, she was awesome! Friendly, informative and very relaxing to be with. We learned a lot about the area, tasted some amazing food and yet felt not-rushed and very "vacationly". No pressure, just a very relaxing few hours. I would recommend this to everyone and can't wait to visit Chicago again and take another tour. Thanks. | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed the North Side tour. We have been living in Chicago for 11 years, but still learned a few new things about the neighborhood. We enjoyed the food establishments we stopped at and found some new places that we will likely visit again. | ||||||

| Our guide, Nikki was awesome. She had so much enthusiasm and positive attitude that it was hard not to feel enthused. The places we visited were definitely places we will visit again and again. She showed us a different side of Chicago that I didn't know anything about. Great experience!! | ||||||

| Tour was very interesting with lots of great information on the neighborhoods (past &present). Our tour guide, a very lovely, enthusiastic and entertaining young lady really made the tour a lof of fun! I have recomended this tour to many friends and relatives. The food was great except for the anti-pasta salad, 3 of 4 in our group did not care for it. | ||||||

| My husband and I went with another couple who were in town visiting. We didn't know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. The added tidbits of history and architecture added into the walking portion made it a very enjoyable tour. Especially living in the Chicago area, we learned about places we would never have known about otherwise! I definitly recommend for both locals and visitors! | ||||||

| We enjoyed all the restaurant stops. Our guide was friendly and very informative. We felt this tour had more food than the Lincoln Park tour. We enjoyed the LIncoln Park tour for the arquitecture part more. | ||||||

Interesting and fun way to see part of Chicago

| We enjoyed the tour; however, the architectural aspects were more interesting than the food samplings. We were disappointed in three of the stops two of which aways offer free tasting samples anyways(the oil & vinegar shop, and the tea shop). The 2 small cubes of cheese and cracker with hummus at the Catering Chocolate were not impressive either. Many in our group felt that stop was dull and were expecting an exciting tasting of something more than a sample you could get at your local grocery deli counter. We were most impressed by the Spice House tour and informational talk, but a small complimentary sample of cinnamon, pepper, or some other spice would have been great. I guess I have been on similar " foodie" tours which were much more generous on the tastings and variety. I would not suggest taking any stops off, but possibly add one or two more like the Old Jerusalem restaurant or Sushi cafe which we passed by (several of us were curious about those) which would only add about 10 minutes more, but greatly enhance the perceived value of the tour.
