| We were visiting Chicago for the first time and took the tour the second day we arrived. We learned more from the tour about Chicago and the individual neighborhoods than from the two tour guides purchased before hand. We also enjoyed the foods on the tour as well as learning about various spices, oils, teas, etc. It was a lot of fun,entertaining and informative. My wife's favorite activity in Chicago (even over shopping) | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed the tour. We also like to cook and the tour was informative about each tasting and the history of the city. Our guide was Emily and she was outstanding! I only wish we had time to purchase because we never made it back to the old part of town. I liked this tour because it was different and brought you in to another side of Chicago. | ||||||

| Our guide Emily was great. Very energetic and thoughtful. We come to Chicago a few times a year and typically visit our favorite places. This time we wanted to be the typical tourist. What a great way to see and learn about a few Chicago neighborhoods. Places we have driven by and never thought to stop at. The spice and oil shops were our favorites. And of course who could possibly turn down the 'to die for' Fudge shop. We highly recommend this tour. All the food was good and on a future trip we plan stop back and eat a meal. We have already recommended the tour to friends. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes! | ||||||

| My wife and two young twenty something children did the walking tour and had a fabulous time! The food was wonderful, the tour guide shared information that included architectural, cultural, historical facts and oh yea, she talked about food too! We went into neighborhoods (really nice!) that we wouldn’t have ever seen on our own. I would do it again and whole heartedly recommend it to others. You do walk a significant amount, so GOOD shoes are a must. | ||||||

| This was a great first activity upon arriving at the city for a girls weekend away. Through the guided tour we became aquainted with the city, including further food options, The tour guide was not only very informative but was genuine and down to earth. Having been on this type of tour I now will seek out similar experiences when I visit other cities. I will also recommend this specific tour to other friends who visit Chicago. | ||||||

| We had a great afternoon. Enjoyed the informative walking tour. Got a real feel for Chicago neighbourhoods. Perfect variety of stops along the way. Very generous sample portions. | I thought this was a great tour. I live downtown and learned a lot that I did not know before. Also, I tried food from a lot of places I didn't know about and now look forward to go back again. I would recommend this tour to anyone. I think it would also be great for people from out of town because it gives a great view of all the different neighborhoods, which is different from most Chicago tours that just stay downtown. | ||||||

| The tour was on our first day and it showed us area's of the city we never would have seen. The guide was awesome and so where the people on the tour. Great selection of places to visit. | ||||||

| My girlfriends and I were in Chicago for a girls getaway. My daughter spent the last year at college in the loop and my friend's daughter has lived in the Lakeview area. We both have seen some interesting neighborhoods and restaurants on past visits, but this tour opened up some real hidden treasures. It is a great day out for the girls. Our husbands wouldn't have appreciated it as much as we did. We returned to The Spice House and all left with full bags. The architectural highlights were a real bonus. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was well informed and her enthusiasm was contagious. We ate lunch at one of the recommended spots the next day. This was so much fun and definitely the highlight of this visit to Chi Town! | ||||||

| Our tour was very informative in giving us information on the locations we visited as well as the neighborhoods we walked through. I especially enjoyed discovering the different teas, spices at the locations and the pizza place was absolutely delicious. I will definitely do this tour again! | ||||||

| I didn't know what to expect on the tour and was pleasantly surprised. Our group consisted of 12 people from all areas and combinations. Our guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable of the area. The tastings at the various shops were interesting and different. My favorites were the Oil Shop and the pizza. We did walk quite a distance, but I didn't seem to mind because the group talked and shared, as well as the guide, about the area. I would recommend this tour with great enthusiasm and may even take it again with my husband or sister. | ||||||

| Away from the usual tourist activities. It was great to explore other parts of the city. We used the recommendations for dinner one night (Adobe on Wells) and for lunch the next (the deli on the tour). We have enjoyed our olive oils and vinegar with greens for our last 2 meals. Very educational and fun. Not as much history as I was hoping with the walking through the neighborhoods but it was still fun to see the different architecture and personality of the areas. | ||||||
