A very enjoyable tour! Well rounded with information about the food, as well as the local community and neighborhood. Could use a bit of time to shop for some of the food products during. Tour guide, Colleen, was excellent, with just the right amount of knowledge, humor and pace. |

We were worried that a food tour would leave us too full to eat for the rest of the day but eating lunch over a 3 our period was perfect. The food was outstanding. The company was fun. The tour guide, Colleen, was energetic, friendly and knowledgeable. The neighborhood tour was interesting and it was nice to be in an area that was not on the list of "Places to see in Chicago." We would highly recommend a food tour. It is a great way to get to a lot of local restaurants and get out of the city a little. |

Interesting mix of food establishments - from famous pizza restaurant to local bakery. Good amount of walking in between. Entertaining and knowledgeable guide. |

We toured two neighborhoods we might have never visited if it had not been for taking this tour. The architecture and history of the area was very interesting. The food was fabulous. We ate a Chicago Dog as it was served, which is something I did not think I would ever do! Actually, it was quite good! Our tour guide was adorable and very knowledgeable! We would not only recommend the tour, but we would do it again when next in Chicago. We would also like to try another of the walking tours offered. |

I took my fiance to Chicago for his 30th birthday. The tour allowed us to learn what Chicago has to offer outside of Magnificent Mile. The food was delicious and our tour guide Kent was enthusiastic. This was our first time in Chicago and I know we will return in the near future. My fiance and I will definitely do another food planet tour. |

Had a wonderful experience on Food Tour on North Side. We were a group of 18 from all over US, Canada and Australia. Our tour guide was a lovely young woman who had an engaging personality and a wealth of knowledge of the area, the merchants and their goods. Food was great; my only suggestion would be to have at least one other restaurant in the mix so you really feel that it is a food tasting tour. I would skip one of the incidental places (spice was interesting, but we only got a very little taste out of a little spice jar of two kinds of cinnamon -although the owner was very charming and had a great senses of humor). Overall, it was a fun day and we were tired by the end. I would try another one of their tours next time I am in Chicago. |

What fun! Colleen gets an A+. I attended the food tour by myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. While the food was fun, having Colleen give us the history of the area made it that much more special. Now my two favorite areas of Chicago are Old Town and Lincoln Park. I can't wait to come back and do the Bucktown tour. Thanks so much. I will recommend the tour to everyone who will listen. |

Did the Near North tour with a friend while in Chicago for a quick couple of days. Made 7 stops for tastings, with a great variety of foods. Also learned alot about this area of Chicago that we would have never explored had it not been for the tour. Even though we were short on time and had to pick and choose what to do while in Chicago, I would definitely recommend this tour! The tour guide was really good and kept it moving. We liked the places so well, we stopped back at several of the stores and restaurants after the tour to shop and eat! |

This is a really great tour that you do not want to miss. Jess our guide took us to some great restaurants and filled us in on the local history and even some Chinese culture. We had so much fun, the next time we are in Chicago, we would take another tour from this group. |

Food was great, guide was great and learned a lot about the culture and history of the area. I've bragged about it to friends back home and anyone visiting Chicago as a must-do! |

My two girlfriends and I (one from suburbs of Chicago, other visiting with me from out of state) truly enjoyed our tour. We loved our guide and the attention to detail in her tour throughout neighborhoods and residential areas in the Old Town and Gold Coast. Very informational and fun and I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Chicago and wants to try something unique and fun with friends or family. The only disappointing detail is that we could not shop while we were in the stores at that time. We moved on and walked far distances in between stops, so it was impossible to return to those earlier shops (unless we got a cab to specifically go out of our way back there.) I think the businesses would benefit greatly if we were given just 5-10 minutes to taste while shopping, because it is unlikely we will make it back, even if we really want to purchase something from their shop later on. It was a bummer for me, since they also offer coupons right there withing the tour's handouts to use at those shops :( Overall, great fun and very educational! |

Our guide was Martha and she was friendly and knowledgeable. Very good stops, lots of interesting information at the tasting locations and along the walk. The food was excellent. Toured with my 20 and 25 year old sons. We all loved it. |

This is the second food tour I attented. We went on the Near North Food Tasting last year and it was great. I loved this food tour as well and our wonderfull guide, Kent. We had alot of food everywhere we went. It was all delicious. Kent was so knowledgeable about each place we visited. We learned so much history with the tour. Can't wait the our next tour in Chinatown. PS Kent.....did you get any new shoes yet.....lol |

The other two food tours offered a lot more of the background and history of the area. On the Chinatown one, we ate (and ate a lot). It was more like two or three full lunches served in a two and a half hour time frame. I would have preferred more visits to the groceries and other shops in the area. Also, more of a history of the architecture and meeting some of the restaurant owners. We had about 5 pieces of dim sum, peking duck and two different styles of food that were each meals on their own. |
