I very much enjoyed the tour and all the information I got to hear about the city. Chicago is an amazing city and the boat tour is a great way to see it. I would definetly recommend the tour to anyone going to see Chicago.

this tour was one of the best experiences of my life. there was great food and tons of interesting information given about the city. the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. I encourage everyone to take this tour. I was really full and recommend not eating or having a very small breakfast. cheers.

Either more food, or higher quality would have been better.

We did this tour for my wife's birthday. It was really neat to get to know the North side of Chicago so much better. All the stops were great, but our favorite was the olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop. This was a great tour, with a knowledgable fun tour guide.

The food tasting and cultural walking tour is a great way to see a side of the city you can only see with someone who knows where they're going and what to see. It was just terrific. The tour includes a wide variety of flavors and scents, not just a particular kind of food. It is well organized and includes lots of great trivia. The food samples are awesome. The oil and spice shops are unexpected gems; the Black Currant Balsamic Vinegar is fantastic. I left feeling enriched and energized, wanting to see and do more in the great city of Chicago.

loved it! Jen was a great tour guide. Who would have known olive oil tastes so good, one of our tour stops.

If you are traveling to Chicago I would recommend this tour as a great way to begin your stay in the "Windy City". Great food, better stories and some very interesting history, will wet your appetite for this city. Great tour!

Wonderful tasting, architecture, walking combo

Wonderful combination of food tasting, architecture and walking and an excellent way to get a feel for the different neighborhoods as you wind your way through the Gold Coast, Old Town and Lincoln Park. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was terrific. She was informative, friendly and was a wealth of information wherever we went. A great way to start your trip to Chicago and it definitely beats riding around in a double decker bus. One tip - the tour ends a few blocks away from the Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory. Admission is free to both and they shouldn't be missed.

Probably not value for money

The beginning (Ashkenaz) and end (Biacini?) were the best food parts of our tour. Otherwise, it was difficult to see where $42/person went. Nicky was an excellent guide, but I doubt that you paid her $60/hour for 3 hours On the inedible side, we enjoyed seeing Chicago neighbourhoods that we otherwise would not have visited

This was a great way to truly experience some of the local culture Chicago has to offer. Living in the area I learned new things and experienced places off the beaten path we normally travel. Highly recommend this to both visitors and locals.

Great spots to visit. The tour was informative and the guide was very pleasant. The tour was a bit too long, but very enjoyable.
