I grew up in the Chicago area and had a friend visiting from out of town. We decided to do the Wicker Park/Bucktown tour. It was awesome! Our guide, Kari was friendly, professional and knowledgable. The restaurants we visited all had delicious food, and we were able to get a break from eating that wonderful food when we spent about 30 minutes walking around Wicker Park residental areas. I learned a lot about the development of both Bucktown and Wicker Park. I highly recommend this tour for everyone! |

Our group of 6 ladies were in town for a girls weekend and everyone really enjoyed the samplings and introductions to new shops we'd not experienced. Our tour guide was pleasant, entertaining and kept the group moving! |

This was my husband & my second tour with Planet Food, and it was fantastic! We did Near North a few years ago which we thoroughly enjoyed, and today we went on the Bucktown/Wicker Park one. These tours are so interesting and the food is great! It's always the highlight of our visits to Chicago. Our tour guide Kari was awesome- she was articulate, friendly, helpful, very professional and experienced. We enjoyed our tour very much and highly recommend them to all. You don't have to be a "foodie" (like us) to enjoy the charming neighborhood and all the tastings. Next time we will do the Asian tour! Great company and concept, they have the best tour guides and spots to stop. Can't recommend them highly enough! |

my wife and I recently did the North tour with Kent as our leader. He made the day fun and entertaining. He has a great amount of local knowledge and a great delivery style. The food stops were all worthwhile, with some being outstanding,i.e. the Rueben and pizza! A great way to spend the afternoon, learn about Chicago, and sample some good eats |

The Bucktown/Wicker Park food tour was much more than I had anticipated. Our tour guide, Kent was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and made all of us feel very comfortable. I enjoyed the restaurants that we visited because they were indicative of where the locals would go. Nothing touristy at all. I also appreciated the fact that the food that we sampled were, for the most part, full servings: a Chicao-style hotdog, a falalfel sandwich, grilled vegetable salad, slice of pizza, delicious hot chocolate and a sample of ice cream. I was completely satisfied at the end of the tour. Additionally, we got some very interesting history about the Bucktown and Wicker Park neighborhoods. It was fascinating, beautiful and I really loved it and would definitely recommend it. |

Just went on a food planet tour in Bucktown/Wicker Park led by Kent. We had a wonderful time. He knew so much about the history of the area and he was a ton of fun, a natural storyteller. The food was amazing! I don't know that I can pick a favorite, although I am still dreaming about the hot chocolate and homemade marshmallow at Mindy's Hot Chocolate. I highly recommend this tour! Bring your appetite and no dieting! |

Our tour guide was awesome. Martha did a great job at leading the tour, she was very knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhoods and the background of the food we were eating. The owner of the spice house gave a very animated presentation about spices, he was amusing. I will recommend this tour to my friends. |

The walking food tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Martha, was easy to listen to and knew lots of interesting facts. We even saw sites such as the restaurant (actually a house) from Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the original Playboy Mansion. I found the history of the older areas of Chicago very interesting.
Our group consisted of 4 friends, two of which had food restrictions (one vegetarian and one nut allergy). They were very accommodating. Everyone loved the food, tea, spices, oil/vinegars, and desserts! We went back to four of the places later to purchase items to bring home! |

I highly recommend this tour. It was both educational and delicious. We were quite full after the tour and enjoyed every stop. I also loved learning about the history of the area and being able to see all the unique homes. My local friends now plan on returning to the food places. |

I recently went on the Bucktown/Wicker Park food tour. Sophie was our tour guide and was great. She gave us so much information while also having fun. You could tell she really enjoyed being a tour guide and was very enthusiastic about it. I would definitely do the tour again and am looking into getting a big group to fill all 15 spots and do the tour again. |
