I have lived about 3 hours from Chicago my whole life. I have never seen Chicago like this. Cari was very, very good! She was very knowledgeable about everything we saw and did. Everything was first class and cannot wait to do another tour!

From the first step and bite, our wonderful guide led a group of strangers who became friends through literally breaking bread on a marvelous diverse and cultural journey through the streets and kitchens of Old town and Lincoln Park.We left full of food, wisdom and a thirst for more.

Great, informative tour with LOTS of food to eat. We were all stuffed & had more than enough to cover lunch. Our tour guide, Carrie, was super friendly & knowledgeable. It wasn't a great amount of walking & the little architectural stops along the way were impressive & informative. Group was mixed; ranged from 23-65; a few older couples & small groups of friends. Very comfortable sized groups. Definitely recommend the tour to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Chicago. I grew up in the Chicago area, now live in MIlwaukee and brought a friend to visit. The tour guide was fantastic, Ari. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. This is a tour not just of food establishments but also local intersting places (original Playboy mansion), and I learned lots of interesting things. We sampled foods at several places, but my favorite was the olive oil shop (can't remember the name). Three hours walking took us a long distance, but it was at a comfortable pace for everyone in the group. I highly recommend this tour.

We were very pleased with the Near North Tour. Our guide Arianna was lively, fun and provided great info on all the shops, restaurants and neighborhoods. Would definitely recommend. The food was delicious and the information provided (especially for the teas, spices and oils) was very educational -- which somehow I did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for a great experience. We love Chicago!

While on a recent visit to Chicago to celebrate my daughter, Nicole's,29th birthday, both of us decided that it might be fun to try something a little different . We each went on-line and discovered the walking food tour and agreed that it sounded interesting. I booked the tour, and even though it rained ,we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was a darling young lady who was very knowledgable and funny. She imparted a lot of historical information which was new for both of us! I would highly recommend this tour!! Thanks for a great, new experience!!

This was my 8th Food Tour with you folks. Several in Bucktown and the rest on the Near North. Glad to hear you are working on Chinatown for October. This is just the thing I like to do with out of town guests and they always leave very very happy. Do you have any flyers or pass out materials that can be left in High rise buildings for people looking for things to do. Maybe you don't want to be bigger than you are...but you do have a WINNER thing going and I can think of so many ways to get more locals involved. Aireana SP?? is just the best and so knowledgeable. She makes everyone so happy to be doing the tour. Go up to the Wrigley Building sidewalk on a weekend and there is another fella dressed in chef hat and costume talking up his food tour-- Got a brochure just to see what he was doing. Seems he is doing restaurants like Berghoffs and understand he is modeled after your tours. A copy Cat >>>>>> Mary Ann Rutshaw

This tour was one of the best I have been on. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and this was new, fun and different! It was like an interactive travel channel show and you got to try the food! Loved that history of the area and each restaurant was described. I would definatly do another one of these food tours. I have already recommended this tour to many people/friends/family in Chicago as well as in Texas.

Nice way to see Chicago beyond the Loop

This is a great way to explore one of Chicago's neighborhoods -- one that you might not ordinarily get too (my 83 year old mother, a Chicago native and lifetime resident, had never been to Bucktown/Wicker Park until this tour). Nice combo of food architecture and local history. Food was ok but didn't knock my socks off. Still it provides a good theme for the walk. We did it on a perfect day--it might not be as much fun in the rain.

This tour was SO fun. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and really friendly. All of the stops we made on the tour were really great. Hot Chocolate was AMAZING, we loved it so much. The tour also included historical homes in the area which were also really cool to see. Never would have known about some of the places if we hadn't taken the tour. Completely worth the money.

We were looking for a tour for our cooking-enthusiast guests and this tour more than satisfied. Jessie and Arianna, our guides, were outstanding--knowledgeable and fun. We particularly enjoyed learning about tea, sampling olive oils and balsamic vinegars, and getting a hands-on lesson on cinnamon varieties at the Spice House. Highly recommended.

We thouroughly enjoyed it. It was very informational and we learned things we never new before and felt it was very interesting.Tthe only thing we would recommend is don't eat a big breakfast ahead of time because the tasting portions are very sufficient and we were full by the end of the tour. That's a great thing! The samples of food were great and I went back to 4 places on the tour and bought items. I will definitely recommend it to anyone I know that is going to Chicago.
