| The tour was a pleasant walking experience with guide pointing out buildings of interest, however it is a mistake to call it a food tasting tour. Starting a tour at 11:00a.m. with a half a greasy potato pancake is a mistake. Ashkenaz Deli had other items that would have been more appropriate like some pastry. If someone is expecting wonderrful tastings from great resturants this is not the tour for them. Since I live in the Chicago area I expected a different experience and was disappointed but I guess if your from Kansas you loved it. | ||||||

| Our leader, a young man, was entertaining with lots of information. I enjoyed the small shops and historical tidbits, but there was actually very little food and a rather long walk between the last two stops. | ||||||

| I would suggest this tour to not only out of towner, but Chicagoan's as well. I'm thinking of getting gift certificates for some of my freinds birthdays. | ||||||

| I went with my mother on this tour. We had an unbelievable time. Our guide, Jennifer was wonderful and so full of information. I can't say enough positive things about it. It was such a great way to se Chicago, which can be a very overwhelming city if you have never visited before. The tour and Jennifer made us feel more like locals than tourists and all the food tastings were great. I was a bit skeptical about doing the tour at first, but I am so glad I did. I would recommend this to everyone! | ||||||

| Jennifer was very knowledgeable of the Chicago neighborhoods and food shops. I would recommend taking this tour with her as the guide to anyone. | ||||||

| My husband and I are former Suburban Chicagoans, now living in Virginia, visiting my mother in a nursing home. We really enjoyed this unique tour. We saw parts of Chicago that we have not enjoyed before. We learned much. And, of course, we enjoyed tasty samples. We learned about, blintzes, teas, oils, vinegars, spices, chocolates, and spinach pizza. It was a lively quick paced tour. That's a good thing. A great walk on a beautiful day! We had a great time! I emailed some of the sites offering coupons. TeaGschwendner, The Spice House, and Old Town Oil say they will honor their coupons. Ethel's chocolate lounge will not. The Fudge Pot website was down. | My family and I had a GREAT time on this tour! The guide was informative, funny, and very amicable, and the food was delicious -- even the things we thought would be questionable! Who knew oil could be so tasty? I'd recommend this trip for anyone who'd like an introduction to Chicago that's a little off the beaten path. | ||||||

| This tour was pretty good. We would have liked more information about the neighborhoods, and one of the stops was not necessary (catering company), but overall this was a good overview of the Gold Coast, Old Town, and Lincoln Park areas. | ||||||

| My friends and I had a GREAT time on the Food Tour! We had some yummy tasting along the way of our great outdoor walk in neighborhoods that we hadn't visited before. I would highly recommend the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, energetic and funny. | ||||||

| WE had a great guide who always found the shade for us to pause in. The food places were all great but especially liked the tea shop and the chocolate fudge place. It was a very nice way to see more of those Chicago neighborhoods and we got some good restaurant recommendations as well. We will do this again when you have more neighborhoods. Thanks. | ||||||

| I went with three other people who live in the Chicago area and all of us loved walking through hidden parks and learning about Chicago's neighborhoods. We were stuffed by the end of the tour. Not for the out of shape though. | ||||||

| The cultural food tour was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Chicago. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and was extremely helpful in planning the rest of our vacation. (After our tour was over .. Above and beyond his call of duty.) We even went back to one of the recommended restaurants for dinner the following night. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who enjoys different foods, and I will be looking tours to attend in other cities. Thanks for a wonderful experience! | ||||||
