| This is definitely a must do for all Chicagoans and tourists. It was great to see the different neighborhoods up close and personal. The food was great and loved learning about diffrerent teas, oils, spices and their origins. Jennifer, our guide, was excellent -- very enhtusiastic, knowledgeable and the walking pace was just right! Keep up the great work! | ||||||

| The tour guide was friendly, well informed, and considerate of everyone's walking ability. Each stop was unique and interesting. The only stop that perhaps could be enhanced is the Catering chese deli. This was a little cramped and not as interesting as the other stops. The architectural portion of the tour was delightful. All and all my husband, daughter and myself throughly enjoyed the experience. We plan to take the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour in the near future. Thank you for a delightful day. | ||||||

| The tour was a lot of fun and Jen was a very good tour guide. Each stop on the tour was unique and informative and the food samples were YUMMY and PLENTIFUL! The only thing I would do differently is to book a hotel so we can go back and do a little more exploring! Thanks for a fun day. | ||||||

| This was a great way to truly experience some of the local culture Chicago has to offer. Living in the area I learned new things and experienced places off the beaten path we normally travel. Highly recommend this to both visitors and locals. | ||||||

| This tour was a fantastic way to learn more about the city I recently moved to. I loved the mix of cultural, historical, and culinary education offered. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging. I would, actually already have, recommended this tour to my friends and co-workers. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon! | ||||||

| I have lived in Chicago for about a year. Taking the food tour really helped me expand my knowledge of the Bucktown and Wicker Park area and the food was really great. I have also taken the Near North tour and really liked that as well. If I had to choose from both tours the Near North tour would have five stars just because it felt like I saw and ate more and it was a wider variety. I brought my family who are from TX and they really enjoyed themselves. One of my only qualms of the Bucktown and wicker Park tour was the first food stop, which was a hot dog place. I'm a vegetarian and I marked that down on the form you fill out before hand. So they said they were ready for that ,but I just got a bun with lots of lettuce and onions and mustard. Besides that all the other food was well adapted for vegetarians. | ||||||

| My friend, boyfriend, and I took the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour and really enjoyed it!! Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable in a relaxed manner. All the stops along the way were very yummy but I have to say that Hot Chocolate was my favorite. My boyfriend and I are Chicagoans and enjoyed ourselves and learned a few new things. Plus, these are not small tastings in size! We came away quite full and happy. | ||||||

| Loved the content, Loved the variation of food and resturants. LOVED the tour guide! Ariana was fantastic! Very knowledgable, approachable, funny. Seemed very comfortable doing her job and seemed to love the tour as much as we did. I especially liked Old town Oil, and really enjoyed Tea Geshwender. Would take this tour again in a heartbeat, and have recomended it to everyone who will listen! | ||||||

| The whole tour was expertly organized and on-time. The historical background was a great filler in between eating stops. The food was amazing and a great way to find local hot-spots. The tour guides were knowledgeable, courteous, and very personable. I would recommend this tour for locals and tourists looking for a wonderful way to see a trendy and interesting portion of Chicago. | ||||||

| My parents were visiting for the weekend, and I was searching for things to do with them that would be different than the "Magnificent Mile" touristy thing. I found this tour online and had done one similar to it in New York last fall. Our tour guide was great! He was friendly and very accomodating. I would strongly urge anyone (including the locals) to take this tour. It was a great way to explore a part of the city that I do not live in. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the walking tour and the tastings. Our guide (Jennifer) was enthusiastic and passionate about the neighborhoods and shops we visited. I think the price is a little expensive when you think about the amount of food...obviously you factor in the "experience" and tour aspects but I think less than $40 would be more appropriate. I'm going to try to do the Wicker Park/Bucktown tour though...so I'll make the stretch. Thanks for introducing me to new places that I can't wait to visit again (Spice Merchant and Old Town Oil for sure!). | ||||||

| To start with the tour was extremely well organized and our host (Shane) was extremely personable and knowledgeable. The tour mixed in information on each of the foods we were introduced to with a myriad of facts about the areas of Chicago we were walking through. The tour was very well planned and scanned the spectrum from tasting exotic oils and vinegars to learning about rare spices, from tasting homemade hummus to sipping unique teas, from sampling incredible chocolate to devouring one of a kind stuffed pizza. My recommendation is to book early because this tour will sell out fast. There wasn't one person that I spoke to in our group who wouldn't go back again with a group of friends or relatives (even the hard to please ones!), including us! Well done Chicago Food Planet, we look forward to trying your Bucktown tour in the near future! | ||||||

| The tour gives you a good feel for Bucktown/Wicker Park from its history to all the yummy eats. It was a really great way to spend the afternoon. And, they didn't skimp on the food portions! Complaint: When I asked the tour guides where was a good place to eat for Cinqo de Mayo they couldn't even recommend a restaurant, not even the Mexican restaurant on the tour. That just left a bad impression. | ||||||
