Can't top the original tour, but very good!

My husband I did the original tour last year and loved it. We decided to try the Bucktown/Wicker Park tour this year. Our tour guide, Kent, was great. The iced chocolate drink from Hot Chocolate was amazing, and the Icream was very good. We liked our stop at Sultan's so much we ate there twice more! We enjoyed seeing some of the great architecture, too. And yet, what we enjoyed the most was visiting a few of the places we went on last year's tour.

We all really enjoyed the experience provided to learn about the different neighborhoods and enjoy some good eats along the way. This is so a one of a kind way to experience all that the city has to offer. Thanks again, we'll be back!

Overall, it was a great afternoon. The weather was perfect and our guide Kent was great. We learned so much about the area and all the food places we stopped at were a treat. The only suggestion I would have to enhance the experience (and I realize it would add about a half hour to the tour) would be to spend 5 to 10 additional minutes at the stops where we had a chance to sit. I realize the tour is billed as food on the move, but I think the extra time would give a little more time to enjoy the food stop and converse with some of the others on the tour. Other than that, keep up the good work! And I have definitely been spreading favorable word of mouth reviews to my family and friends.

Very worthwhile activity. I was not familiar with the Bucktown-Wicker Park area prior to this tour. First impression of the commercial streets was one of an area that had seen better days. After the tour my impression was of an area that was filled with charming shops and restaurants founded by creative entrepreneurs. We had six food stops and all were delicious and housed in unique buildings. We had so much food that we could not finish the final selection so the owner of the restaurant was gracious enough to furnish a "doggie bag". The residential streets were just as charming. So glad to see that these Chicago neighborhoods are alive with beautifully restored and original Victorian homes. I never would have discovered them on my own. Kudos to our guide, Kent. He was very knowledgeable about the area.

Our tour guide Nicki was fun & enthusiastic. This tour got us off the beaten path and into some neighbourhoods we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We covered a lot of ground at a relaxed pace, remember to wear comfy shoes. The next time I visit Chicago I'll definately try the Wicker Park tour.....and maybe do this one again!

this was my 2nd time doing the taste tour. both times it was great. the guides were very interesting and energetic ladies. very knowlegable of the stops and buildings we walked passed. the food at each place was awesome. the pizza at the end was fabulous. i normally don't like deep dish pizza because it's too greasy. this was NOT greasy at all. very tastey. i love the whole thing. infact i'm doing it again next week!!!

Exceeded Our Expectations

I had no idea the tour was going to be as informational and delicious as it was. We walked away from this experience with more Chicago knowledge and we definitely got our money's worth. We liked some of the shops so much, we returned as soon as the tour finished to use our specialty-made coupon's and to purchase a few items.

My sister from S. Carolina was visiting and we made a day trip into Chicago for the Food Tour. It was such fun! She'll go back to SC and have so much to share with her family and friends there. Loved it---and she will come back soon for us to take the Wicker Park Food Tour! :-) Thanks.

I did the tour through Old Town and Lincoln Park with my husband. It was fabulous! Not only was the food great, but the history of the areas we walked in was detailed and very interesting. I saw a part of Chicago that I hadn't experienced before. The education provided by the tour guide and shop personnel was great! I can't wait to go back and do the Wicker Park tour!

We did a similar tour inNYC & loved it( we did have more food stops there) it is sucha fabulous way to see another layer of a big city. It is nice to hear about the history of a neighbourhood & how it has evolved. in this case - we also learned about the products ie tea & spices-- most informative & a delightful way to spend three hours.. We would do another one in a different area on our next visit!! Well done! ES

My children (ages 16, 15, & 8) and I all enjoyed the walking food tour. Sometimes it can be difficult to find something everyone likes to do on vacation. We all totally enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to others who want to get a feel for the city you are visiting.

Finding great experiences for sometimes picky children can be a challenge. My 18 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter LOVED the tour!! Learning about the history of the North End,the amazing architecture, introductions to exotic teas, amazing aged balsamic vinegars, flavored olive oils, stuffed pizza, and a Ruben sandwich was the Perfect way to begin our first of many stays in Chicago. Ariana was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun and charming. Can't wait to return and take your other tours. Really made the trip and was the prefect beginning to experience a great city. Recommend highly, something for everyone.

Great tour! Adriana was enthusiastic about Chicago and wonderfully informed us with unique insights about the various neighborhoods on the tour. A must for those who enjoy leisurely walks, history, architecture, specialty shops, restaurants and samplings.
