| My husband and I recently took our fourteen year old daughter and seventeen year old son to Chicago for four days. The food tour was a favourite highlight for us all. The neighbourhood walk and food tastings were awesome and enjoyed by all. Ben our tour guide was great. He made the whole experience very fun and educational. We returned to the neighbourhood, rewalked part of the tour and enjoyed brunch at Bongos, a place reccommended by Ben. It was an awesome experience. We would definately do a food tour again! | ||||||

| Our tour of the Bucktown/Wicker Park areas was pretty cool. I think it was well priced and very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Ben did a great job explaining the history and the areas that we visited. The resturaunts chosen on the tour were nice, clean, and yummy! Thank u Ben and thank u Zerve! I would recommend this tour to someone else and I would do it again myself! | ||||||

| They were four couples in our group. Everyone enjoyed the walking tour not only did we taste some delicous foods we learned many things about teas, spices, olive oil and, balsamic vinegar that was new and informative to all of us. The day started with a tasty sandwich and ended with the best Chicago pizza we had while in town. As well, we learned so much about Chicago to include history, events, and historical buildings and places that we probably would not have seen if not for the tour. Would recommend the tour, and will probably now do other tours while in large cities. | ||||||

| I had a friend visit and decided to take this tour for the first time myself. It was a great experience - not only sampling food and visiting local merchants -- but hearing the history of the areas we walked through. Our guide was a delight (Arrianna). I will definitely recommend this to others and hope to do the Wicker Tour myself. | ||||||

| My husband and I took this tour when we found ourselves back in Chicago. Our family had taken the Near North tour back in June and really loved it. The Bucktown/Wicker Park tour did not disappoint!!! Our tour guide Kent was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. This is not a section of Chicago that we would have ventured into on our own (because there are no "headline" attractions). Kent was full of stories, information, and tidbits that we never would have found in any tour book! It is very obvious that he loves this city and loves to show it to people. The stops along the way were very varied and interesting. Never have we seen or tasted ice cream made with liquid nitrogen---with so MANY different combinations of flavors as well. Our favorite stop was at Hot Chocolate for the frozen hot chocolate---to die for!! We even returned a few nights later for pizza and beer at the local pizzeria and brewpub. Part of the fun was just watching all of the people gathered at such a popular local hangout. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food and wants to hear all about Chicago from a local who loves his city!!! | ||||||

| A great chance to experience a part of Chicago you would probably never find on your own. Kent was a great guide, who talked enthusiastically about his home! There was plenty of food but it so well planned out, you eat at the right times so just when you're feeling full, you walk for an hour and take in some beautiful and interesting sights and work your appetite back up!!! Everyone who goes to Chicago should do this!!! | ||||||

| Aryanna was most accommodating. Our group was very large and we had to leave early to catch a flight because it fell a bit behind. She was a wonderful guide and we would highly recommend this tour. Lots of interesting places and great information. | ||||||

| My husband, daughter-in-law and I enjoyed the tour immensely. The food stops were tasty and interesting but the cultural and architectural aspects included made the tour. We loved walking through the neighborhoods. We didn't even notice we walked 2 1/2 miles. Even though she lived in Lincoln Park a few years, our daughter-in-law found areas she hadn't previously discovered. Our group size was good and our guide, Jennifer, was wonderfully informative and fun. Rest stops were not a problem and the food tastings were sufficient for lunch. We'll definitely schedule another tour on a future visit to Chicago. p.s. We wouldn't recommend the tour for young children. We were originally scheduled to bring our 5 1/2 year old granddaughter with us and the tour would not have been interesting for her. | ||||||

| Enjoyed Jennifer, the guide, she has a great attitude and really knows Chicago. The food was wonderful and filling. No need for a big breakfast prior to the tour. I liked that not only is it a food tour but I learned about the culture and history of the neighborhood. Can't wait to go back and try the other tour. | ||||||

| This tour was informative, entertaining, and tasty. Jennifer (the tour guide) was friendly and fun, helped us understand Chicago and the neighborhoods toured from a local's perspective, and was considerate of guests needs. The food was great and ample--my husband and I were amused that their website claims "most participants don't need to eat lunch afterwards." We couldn't imagine anyone wanting lunch after everything eaten on the tour. The spice shop and the olive oil/balsamic vinegar shop were very unique and informative and were well interspersed with the "eating" portions of the tour. Since we stayed downtown this tour enabled us to see a totally different side of Chicago from everything we experienced during the rest of our visit. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends who come to Chicago. | ||||||

| A very good way to be introduced to this part of Chicago. History, architecture, food : a very pleasant mixture with a very nice guide. Gastronomy in Chicago? Oh, yes. | ||||||
